Another incredible recipe from our friends , this beautiful dairy free and ‘massaged’ kale caesar is yummy, nourishing, nutritious, and fun, without the sacrifice of a heavy dressing while still packing a crispy salad punch. By substituting kale for romaine lettuce, and literally massaging it with your bare hands until it naturally wilts and breaks down the fibers, which, in our opinion is so much better than raw kale, you create a similar texture to the beloved Caesar with an added crunch of the sourdough ends.

This is a perfect dish if you new to kale, and while there are so many version of kale salads, this one is usually the most trusted and loved, because, well, it’s just hard to pass up a Caesar!

Today’s Full Moon in Capricorn is also called the Rose, Strawberry, or Honey Moon, eluding to its Summer ripe potency. Like all Full Moons, there is a point of culmination and realization due to the Moon reflecting the Sun’s light, illuminating our subconscious feelings and needs into realization.

While we’ve been actively strategizing and building our lives according to our goals, the Capricorn Moon serves as a reminder to celebrate how far we’ve come, to not overwork ourselves whilst neglecting our emotional needs and feelings; while the Sun and Venus in Cancer ask that we take time to rest and nurture ourselves.

The Capricorn/Cancer axis always serves as a reminder to parent ourselves, empowers us to meet our own needs (self-regulate), and inspire us to work on healthier boundaries.

Like all lunations and astrological (planetary) alignments, there are several ways to experience one event–lean into the now and allow it to inform you of where this Full Moon is shining most brightly in your life, helping you to release fears, rigidity, and time constraints for the most integrated and balanced empowering circumstances. Trust in whatever has been moving and shaking for you. Know that whatever needs to fall away will fall, and whatever needs to stay will stay. The nature and power of Eclipses is strong, but move slowly and trust your intuition, acknowledging all you have learned from your past as you navigate your future. Fresh from our friends try this fun and spring inspired salad bowl: Bitter spring dandelion greens, sweet beets, fresh spring herbs, plant-protein (or switch it up) and a super springy simple dressing adds up to a delicious bowl of spring!

You can grab dandelion greens from your local health food store, farmers market or pick your own fresh from your yard (be sure pesticide free). Dandelion greens (and flowers) are not only edible but one of nature’s most effective liver tonics—perfect for spring’s inherent cleansing and detoxification.

What is progress in yoga?

Progress is a mindset. Of course, physical progress is also progress, but psychological and emotional progress is a by-product of a consistent yoga practice.

Real progress are changes you can feel off the mat, and can be felt when you find joy in small things, presence in random moments, acceptance to what is, and compassion to yourself and others.

Practicing more difficult posture such as the splits and not allowing the ego to take over and push yourself too much) allows you to see what the body can do and have fun with a specific focus!

3/4 Cup Cashew Butter
1/2 Cup Honey
2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil

Optional Glaze: Coconut Butter or Melted Chocolate
