Break Free Foundation Break Free is a movement to break free from the stigma associated to living a life in recovery đź’ś

Break Free is an online community for sober and sober curious individuals to connect with one another. The purpose of this group is to share stories of recovery, sober resources, and inspiration for those who may be struggling. Founded in 2022, Break Free's mission has always been clear: we want to connect people living a sober lifestyle with like-minded individuals through online meet-ups, livestreams, webinars, and more. For us, sobriety is a spectrum and we fully embrace all looking to join our community. Our group is for anyone with an interest in retaining or gaining sobriety worldwide, including:
- People who are sober curious
- Anyone who is new to recovery
- Anyone who has been in recovery for a long time
- Sober companions, sponsors, and counselors looking to learn more about the sober community

July 23rd is Nation Women Touched By Addiction Day (NWTBAD). NWTBAD was founded in 2021 by the American non-profit organization, Mending Hearts. NWTBAD seeks to raise awareness about women who have been affected by addiction. Sometimes old cliche's are true, in this instance we can oftentimes be our own worst enemies. Forgiving yourself can be challenging, but it's also incredibly rewarding and freeing. Take it one day at a time and remember to be gentle with yourself during recovery.
