Last month, Selina had a wonderful time participating in Help USA's community fair! It was such a joy to connect with residents and partners, and the kids loved our beach balls that brought extra fun to the day.

Huge thanks to Ms. Jean for the amazing work you do and for always including us - it was a beautiful day of community and connection!

Friendships and community play a huge role in a child's emotional development.

This week’s encourages you to Support Social Connections and Extracurricular Activities. ⚽🎨

Whether your child joins a club, plays a sport, or explores a creative hobby, participating in activities they enjoy fosters a sense of belonging and boosts confidence. These social connections can protect against anxiety and depression, helping your child feel supported and less alone.

Weekend Reminder: Small changes = big impact. Adjust one part of your daily routine to support your well-being—sleep, meals, or screen time. Progress is showing up with purpose.

Scott, our Director of Special Projects, reminds us this Su***de Prevention Month that every conversation matters. 💜

Let’s keep breaking the silence and supporting one another, because hope is always within reach.

Our Outreach Team had the pleasure of joining District 19’s Back-to-School Fair, serving families from across the district. We shared our mental health resources, provided school essentials such as pencils and sharpeners, received wonderful feedback from the community, and enjoyed connecting with both families and partners throughout the day.

A big thank you to Ms. Pugh and the District 19 team for the invite and the opportunity to support and engage with the community!

We are thrilled to join City & State NY in celebrating one of our own, Arminda Torres, on being named one of the 2025 Latino Trailblazers!

As Senior Manager of Call Center & Bronx Support Services at the New York Psychotherapy & Counseling Center, Arminda plays a vital role in ensuring barrier-free access to care. She leads her team in connecting callers to bilingual services and supporting Bronx site services seven days a week. Her leadership helps transform first contacts into care that is timely, culturally competent, and accessible.

Arminda's dedication uplifts underserved families and strengthens the mental health network for thousands of New Yorkers each year. This recognition is so well deserved, and we are proud to have her as part of the NYPCC team.

Please join us in congratulating Arminda on this incredible honor. 👏
