Last weekend, Alyssa joined the PAC Parents Day event in Queens to celebrate parenthood alongside the inspiring parents of the P.A.C.! She connected with families and shared valuable mental health tips and resources for both parents and individuals.

Big thanks to the Parent Advocacy Council (P.A.C.) for creating a space that centers lived experience and uplifts parent voices to improve outcomes for children and families.

In this digital age 📱, it can feel like we're always glued to our screens. Excessive screen time can lead to poor sleep and negatively impact our family's mood. That's why this , we recommend limiting your child's screen time and encouraging offline fun!

Being offline promotes creativity and reduces overstimulation, supporting emotional regulation and overall well-being. 🧠

It’s National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. This month, we’re sharing ways to support and uplift minority communities facing mental health challenges.

Create healing spaces- To ensure mental wellness thrives, we recommend developing environments where individuals feel safe, acknowledged, and supported. A healing space offers refuge from daily stressors and generational trauma.

It’s not just about a physical location; it’s about fostering emotional safety, cultural respect, and meaningful connections.

Make room for rest, reflection, and cultural expression. Encourage and practice self-care, and consider hosting or attending wellness activities such as journaling sessions, group meditation, or simple check-ins. By promoting empathy and connections in both professional and personal settings, you can help create your own healing space.
