My Baba's Garden by Jordan Scott is a beautiful story about a boy's relationship with his Grandmother. Even though she doesn't speak much English, they form a bond through gestures and shared experiences. At the end, she has to move in with him and his parents, giving him a chance to look after her, the way she looked after him when he was little.

With illustrations that will stay etched in your mind, this book shows you how love can transverse language and be made up of shared moments, whilst also reminding us of the importance of family time.

Suitables for ages 3 to 9.

Bear and Bird, The Adventure and other stories by Jarvis is a wonderful chapter book created specially for your little ones. This cute book follows bear and bird through four different experiences and is written in a light-hearted and funny way that both adults and children will enjoy.

Full of comic mix-ups and misunderstandings, as well as genuine warmth and affection, this book explores the friendship between Bear and Bird. Even though they don't always understand each other, all they really want is to make each other happy. ❤️

Little Miss 2 and I really love this book, the warm and cheeky storylines have both of us smiling everytime we read it, and the characters are all so lovely, you'll find yourself rooting for every one of them.

This is the 3rd installment in a series of adorable chapter books on Bear and Bird, and we're very excited to read the rest of them!

Suitable for ages 2 to 5. ❤️

Carry me! by Georigie Birkett is the most delightful book about Wilbur, who wants to be carried everywhere by his mummy. Mums and their littles everywhere will relate to this sweet tale, which is accompanied by the cutest, most colourful illustrations.

Mummy carries and pushes Wilbur everywhere, but one day when he wanders out of his stroller to pick up the bunny he dropped, he gets an unexpected surprise! A truly wonderful book that my daughter and I both enjoy, this is a book every mum should read with their little one. 🥰

Suitable for ages 3 to 6. ❤️

The Koala Who Could by Rachel Bright is an inspiring story about Kevin, the Koala, who is so stuck in his ways that he never wants to leave his safe spot in his tree. It takes his tree falling down for him to realise that change isn't so bad after all, and that sometimes the things we fear the most, aren't so scary either.

This is a fantastic story about dealing with change and overcoming your worries. It's a memorable book written in melodic rhyming prose with fantastic illustrations, which you and your children will definitely love.

Here are some questions you can ask as you read through the book to help with your child's comprehension. If they can't answer outright, use the multiple choice questions in the brackets to help them.

1) Why doesn't Kevin want to leave his tree?
(He doesn't like change / he's scared of what is on the ground)

2) Why doesn't Kevin want to play with Wombat?
(He is busy / he doesn't like to try new things)

Suitable for ages 2 to 7.

The Invisible String by Patrice Karst is a must-have book that helps children navigate separation anxiety in the most wonderfully simple way, an invisible string. Written by a mother who wanted to help her son cope with the anxiety of going to school, this worldwide best-seller provides a simple premise that is easy to understand for all ages.

The idea of an invisible string of love that connects us all is a wonderful one. I absolutely love this book, and it joins my list of 5-star must-have titles.

Suitable for age 2 to 7. ❤️

With your paw in mine by Jane Chapman is a sweet story about Miki getting separated from her mum in a storm, but luckily having a friend, Amad, there with her to get through it together.

This is a touching story about friendship and how having friends is vital when things get difficult. It's a beautifully illustrated book written in simple prose which you and your little one will definitely enjoy and read over and over again.

Here are some questions you can ask as you read through the book to help with your child's comprehension. If they can't answer outright, use the multiple choice questions in the brackets to help them.

1) What does Miki like to snuggle on?
(Her pillow / her mum)

2) Why does mum roll Miki up in seaweed?
(so she won't float away / to keep her warm)

3) Why do Miki and Amak become friends?
(They're both hungry / they’re both waiting for their mums)
