3 TIPS FOR STAYING CONSISTENT 💪🏽

Remaining consistent can be the hardest part when setting intentions or goals. I know it can be for me atleast. Here are my top 3 ways to help with .

✏️ Set realistic goals and break them down into smaller, achievable steps. This will help to keep you motivated and focused on your goals.

👫🏽 Find an accountability partner or group to help you stay on track. Having someone to check in with and share your progress with can help to keep you motivated and accountable.

🎉 Celebrate your successes, no matter how small. Acknowledge the progress you've made and celebrate your accomplishments. This will help to keep you motivated and focused on your goals.

I don’t know about anyone else but I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately, mentally and emotionally which is manifesting physically. Or more so in my lack of motivation to physically move my body.

I came across this saying this past weekend and it was right on time. It was a reminder that I don’t have to do it all at once. That small wins is still progress. Even when it seems like everything is going wrong, all I have to do is just take one step forward everyday. All I have to do is MOVE.

We really don’t talk enough about how moving our bodies is probably one of the best ways to fight being in a funk or feeling depressed and overwhelmed. A lot of times I feel like I have to have this explosive workout to feel accomplished (and to post on this app but that’s for another story time lol) but then that thought stresses me out so I make up excuses not to get it done. When in reality, I just need to move. So I’ve been going for extended walks more be doing the the power workouts. I even read a book while walking around my neighborhood and that really helped boost my mood.

So this was one was for me… but if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or down, I truly encourage you to just move. Hold off on the intense workouts for little if you have to. Walk, stretch, do light yoga, do a low impact workout.

And always remember, small steps every day 🤎

So I haven’t been in a public gym since March 2020 and I’m finally back.
I was pretty reluctant before but there really is nothing like working out in a gym. My workouts are much more intense vs working out at home. (But I hate working out in a mask so I still love my at home workouts and rides with lol)

When I posted this on my stories, quite a few people said they’d join in on this August BGM Core & More Workout Challenge by , so I figured I’d post it here!

All you need is the app to follow along! I’ve committed to adding on an additional workout or a ride (for those with access to a bike) on the super light days (ie 5-10 min workouts).

First day starts tomorrow with ! Let’s keep each other motivated during the month!
