Nestled in a tree-lined residential neighborhood, Staten Island Care Center provides the most up-to-date skilled nursing, medical and therapeutic services in the reassuring enviornment of a small and caring community. It's hard to define but easy to see ... like walking into a happy home. Based on the individualized Care Plan developed upon admission, our skilled teams of medical, therapeutic, and social service staff members provide a wide range of medical services. From day one, the status and well-being of each resident and patient is monitored daily. Our goal is to provide residents with the highest quality of life and, wherever possible, discharges back to their communities with maximum functioning and independence. The rehabilitative and restorative services we offer include:
Physical, occupational and speech therapies • Cognitive rehabilitation • Restorative swallowing and feeding • ADL training • Adaptive/assistive devices • Post-acute care • Orthotic/prosthetic service• Neurological rehabilitation • Wound care • Pain management• Infusion therapy • Oxygen therapy • Enteral nutrition• Tracheotomy, colostomy and Ileostomy care • Orthopedic rehabilitation • Respite care • Hospice care

Because time spent with family and friends is often the best medicine, we go out of our way to encourage visits. Free van service to and from our facility is available for family members in Brooklyn and Staten Island. Also, with liberal visiting hours, it is convenient to stop by after work.
