Lower back pain is the main cause of pain in the U.S. Majority of cases involve injuries from lifting, pulling and twisting, but sometimes the pain starts spontaneously. How can we minimize the chances of this happening?

-Always be mindful of how you lift or pull heavy objects.
- Tighten you abdominal muscles, utilize your legs, not just the back.
- Never twist your body, always turn entire body. - Stretch throughout the day.
- Do activities that strengthen your core musculature.
-Wear back support when anticipating heavy lifting.
