Every January brings the same pressure:
new goals, new habits, new expectations.

Yes, 2026 just began —
but energetically, the year hasn’t fully shifted yet.
The Chinese New Year (Year of the Horse) begins in mid-February — a year associated with movement, momentum, and forward energy.

And here’s what most people miss:

Before asking “What should I do this year?”
the most important question is:

“What needs to go?”

What habits drain your energy?
What expectations are you carrying that aren’t even yours?
What pace is no longer sustainable?

True momentum doesn’t come from adding more.
It comes from creating space — mentally, physically, energetically.

This is how I approach goal-setting with my clients:
first we clear, then we move — with intention, not urgency.

Sit with that before you rush ahead. 🧘‍♀️

My 2026 intentions ✨
to focus on what actually matters — for me and for you❤️

To show up authentically.
And to walk my talk.

I’m deeply aware of how tired people are —
tired of social media, and tired of wellness that promises to fix everything in 5 days.

After more than 20 years on this path, I know that:
lasting change doesn’t come from short intensity & following trends..
It comes from consistent resets and balanced lifestyle.
It is not about perfection but about consistency (even if small).

To show up fully, you need to feel good.
To feel calm and balanced, you need practices that work inside real life.

Small moments of regulation.
A few minutes to breathe, move, reset.
Sleep.
Balanced nutrition.
Done regularly.

That’s how the nervous system learns safety.
That’s how confidence and capacity build.

More tips don’t help overloaded nervous system.

So this year, I’m choosing depth over noise.
Fewer posts. More intention.
Less performance. More presence.

Here’s what you’ll find here:
• grounded, embodied practices for busy people
• honest conversations about stress, burnout, and capacity
• nervous-system-informed work for real life and real work
• invitations to go deeper, when the timing feels right

That deeper work sometimes looks like small daily resets —
and sometimes it looks like intentional spaces, like the spring retreat I’m hosting for those ready to slow down and reconnect.

💕If you’re craving depth instead of scrolling,
I invite you to join my free bi-weekly Inner Balance newsletter — where I share longer reflections and practical tools (feedback has been amazing thus far).

Comment NEWSLETTER and I’ll send you the link to sign up✨

No pressure.
Just a different pace.

2025 was humbling…
but because I learned what actually matters.

Leaving a successful healthcare exec career to become a multi-passionate wellness entrepreneur who truly wants people to live healthier lives has been… confronting. At times, almost soul-crushing.

I was pulled in every direction.
Some efforts bore fruit.
Most didn’t.

Here’s the truth no one prepares you for:
98% of entrepreneurship is marketing and selling — a completely different skill set than coaching, teaching wellness, or leading teams in a hospital.

That’s been sticky for me.

We’re all overwhelmed. I’m overwhelmed.
My inbox is flooded with coaches selling to coaches selling to coaches.
I don’t want to be another loud voice telling people to “buy from me.”

And the social media game? Exhausting.
Zero business from it.
I’m 45 — I didn’t grow up performing for algorithms.

In 2025, my insomnia spiraled and nearly took me down.

So here’s what’s changing in 2026:
• My nervous system is non-negotiable
• I protect my time and energy
• I show up authentically — or not at all
• I walk my talk, fully

And yet… 2025 was deeply formative.

This year I:
• Earned my dream MS in Health & Human Performance
• Gave my first keynote on Quiet Resilience (International Women’s Day)
• Hosted my first wellness retreat with
• Created qigong & mindfulness content for
• Co-facilitated powerful Qi Awakening events with
• Returned to teaching qigong regularly, online & in person
• Witnessed profound transformations of my coaching clients
• Facilitated stress-management talks locally

I met extraordinary people — friends, collaborators, fellow coaches — who reminded me why this work matters.

I’m so grateful:
🤍 To my husband for believing in me
🤍 To fellow wellness entrepreneurs on this path
🤍 To every person who showed up, trusted me, or said “what you do matters”

I’m not rushing into 2026.
I’m stepping back — so I can move forward calmer, wiser, and more aligned.

If you’re ending this year tired but clearer…
You’re not behind.
You’re becoming.

💬 What’s one thing you’re leaving in 2025?

The holidays can magnify what’s already heavy✨
Loss. Illness. Financial stress. Loneliness. Uncertainty.

Not everyone is celebrating.
Not everyone is okay.

This is your reminder to move a little softer, speak a little kinder, and give people more grace than you think they need.

Sometimes kindness is the most meaningful gift we can offer. 🤍❄️✨🫶🎄🎅

Wishing you a peaceful Winter Solstice❄️✨

This is the season of slowing down, reflecting, and restoring — not pushing or proving.

Ancient wisdom understood something modern life often forgets:
energy regenerates in quiet.✨✨✨

Mindful intentional movement can nourish the nervous system instead of draining it - so needed in this overstimulated world.

As the light begins to return, may you give yourself permission to move slower, listen inward, and reset❤️💕🫶

I could post this picture and tell you about my amazing year and how you need my help.

But I can’t. The truth is—this year has been brutal.

I’m tired. I’m nowhere near where I thought I’d be. I’ve been building something from scratch in a world that feels increasingly hostile to authenticity.

Where you need the perfect niche, the perfect feed, constant AI tools, and paid ads just to be seen. Where “gurus” half my age with no life experience get more attention because they’ve mastered the content game.

I’m multipassionate about health. I’ve studied it for years. Apparently that’s “not good” anymore.

I lost my health after my accident on 1/1/2000 and rebuilt it—not with hacks, but with devotion and tears. Being constantly sick, limited me in so many ways...but i kept going...

I came to NYC in 2006—alone, broke, sick. No connections. No fancy degree. I built a career in top healthcare institutions through grit. I lived in rooms. I stayed with friends when I didn’t have home, rebuilt myself over and over.

I’ve done hard things when no one clapped. And I never really talked about what it all took…

At the same time, I have lived with real fun, adventures and amazing people… and it’s all in my heart, not documented here or tik tok or wherever else …

But right now? I’m taking a step back. I don’t like this overstimulated world we’re living in.

I’m doing more qigong, meditating, reflecting. Walking my own talk.

If you’re surviving—not thriving—that’s okay.
If you need rest, take it.
If you feel behind, you’re not. You’re exactly where you need to be to gain strength for what’s next.

The world needs more humanity. More honesty. More kindness.

I’m here. I’m with you. And I’m figuring out how to serve in a way that feels true.

I’m not sure you’ll read this. But if you did—thank you❤️

Who else deals with all these plot twists of peri-menopause? Midlife hormones love surprises 🤷‍♀️

One month your period is early…
the next it’s late…
or it vanishes like a magician.
Add in the mood swings, night sweats, random bloating, 3 am wake-ups, and “why am I suddenly emotional over nothing?” — and it’s a whole season of unexpected episodes.

But you don’t have to ride the stress wave with them.

We are entering Water 💦 season — winter ❄️ in this hemisphere, the time when your body naturally turns inward to rebuild its deepest reserves.

In TCM, the Water Element governs:
💧 Kidney & adrenal energy
💧 Deep vitality
💧 Nervous system resilience
💧 Your ability to rest, recover & think clearly

Winter is the storage phase of the year.
Just like nature pulls its energy downward and inward, your body wants to:
✓ Sleep more
✓ Slow down
✓ Reflect
✓ Reset your baseline energy

If you feel more tired or introspective, this is healthy. It’s your Water element guiding you back to balance.

This January 10, we’re tapping into this seasonal intelligence inside Winter Energy Reset workshop — with qigong, breathwork & restorative practices designed specifically for Water season.✨

If your energy needs a true reset this winter, join me in January.

DanceGiving: Joy, Connection & the Spark We All Need💕

This season is often portrayed as joyful — yet for so many, it also brings up loneliness, distance from family, unmet goals, transitions, or the quiet ache of wanting life to feel different than it does.

Maybe that’s why last Sunday’s DanceGiving felt so meaningful✨

Over 40 of us gathered in Troy to ground, move, release, and remember what it feels like to reconnect with ourselves.
Qigong blended with ecstatic dance, guided by sound journey — and together we created a space where joy wasn’t something we had to “perform,” but something that naturally emerged as we breathed and moved as a community.

In a time of year that can feel heavy or overwhelming, these moments remind us that joy can be rebuilt… one breath, one beat, one gathering at a time.

We are so grateful for everyone who showed up, shared their energy, and allowed themselves to simply be.
And I’m grateful for these gatherings — spaces where we can soften, reconnect, and feel supported.

I look forward to many more. 💛

Our next Winter Qi Awakening is on December 14th!!!

And if you can’t join in person, you’re always welcome inside the Inner Balance Circle — online space to move, breathe, and reconnect from anywhere (live & recorded qigong and somatic practice classes) - link in bio.🥰

The part of self-care we don’t talk about enough…
Self-appreciation.
Real, honest self-love.❤️

You can exercise, eat clean, sleep well, do all the “right” things…
and still feel like something is missing.

What I’ve seen over and over—
in my clients and in my own journey—
is that women who invest the most in their health
are often the hardest on themselves.

This holiday season, we’re expressing gratitude for everyone and everything around us…

But what about gratitude for yourself?
For your body that keeps going.
For your heart that keeps showing up.
For the nervous system that holds it all together.

This Thanksgiving weekend, pause.
Put your hand on your heart.
And whisper, “Thank you.”
Not for perfection… but for carrying you through it all.

This simple shift is transformative.
It changed my health, my energy, and my relationship with my body.

If you want support grounding, resetting, or reconnecting with your body…
I made you something that helps ❤️

Comment “RESET” and I’ll DM it to you.
