much this woman gave and loved. Rev Dr. Helen Uzoma Jones. One of my Spiritual Mamas. May God receive your beautiful soul this Easter weekend.

Beloved Family and Community, this morning we bow our heads with sadness, in honor and open our hearts in celebration of the life and soul of our Beloved Mama Helen Alva Battle Jones as she makes her pilgrimage home, into the light. An anchor and pillar of the Inner Visions Community, she was one of the 6 authors of the curriculum that prepared, trained and saved many. A faithful and mighty servant, the first Prayer Warrior of the Inner Visions community, she was and will always be one of "The Mamas." IVISD grads and students, past and present, be on the look out for our "Marching Orders" to participate in our collective honoring and celebration of Rev. Dr. Mama Helen Uzoma Jones. There simply are now words . . . and so she RISES!🙏
