What a week!!! Thank you so much for your support, nomination and votes!!
The reward is truly in what I do on the daily…seeing kiddos progress and accomplish milestones is a gift!
This course has been a labor of love!! 💜
Parents, providers, join us this Thursday at 5pm in @brilliantbabyandbeyond
Casey with @expansionspeechtherapy and I will be talking about oral ties.
Learn about the signs and symptoms of oral ties, effects oral restrictions can have on your baby and most importantly what to do (and not to do), as well as who turn to!
Parent education is at the forefront of all that I do!
Once we’re able to determine the cause of the issue, we work on addressing it TOGETHER! At the end of each session, my goal is for parents to have learned a new or progressed technique that can easily be incorporated into the daily routine!
This mom has been doing amazingly in incorporating strategies and is now really learning the intricacies of each activity.
This little guy is receiving a fascial release from his mom (not me), which has helped him with:
✅ torticollis
✅ head shape
✅ breathing
✅ breast feeding
✅ bowel movement and gas
He’s ready for discharge and was able to accomplish his goals in just 4 visits!
Truly, the most rewarding job in this world! 🥰
Posted as a story, but had a great suggestion to share it as a reel ☺️
Placing your kiddo in tummy time, when a head rotation preference is a concern, MAY help head shape (depending on how much your little one likes tummy time). But, it won’t change the head rotation preference. If anything, it will strengthen that preference.
It’s important to find the root cause (hint, it’s not the neck), and address that cause to allow full range of motion to both sides.
Other symptoms that you may see: difficulty in tummy time, difficulty or pain breast feeding on one side, multiple neck rolls, GI symptoms (reflux, constipation).
Reach out if you have any questions. Offering free consults and always here for you! 💜
Reasons I’m posting this reel:
💜 Home setting: pets, familiar environment, favorite toys make for the best motivator!
💜 This little lady has a goal of independent walking. But rather than cueing her to take steps, I’m actually asking her to stand and stop with each step. Standing stability is more difficult to achieve and is a precursor to walking. Don’t rush those steps! Look for controlled steps.
💜 I could’ve edited this video, so that you don’t see her losing her balance—but the reality is, there is no perfect session, no perfect therapist, no perfect child and no perfect parent!
💜 Take it all with a grain of salt and please know, YOU are more than good enough, you are the perfect parent to and for your child!
October is Physical Therapy month!! So grateful for this profession, for my colleagues, my patients and their families!! There is nothing else that I would rather do! And for that I’m grateful every single day!!!
Thank you so much for entrusting me with your little loves, it means the world to me!!! 💜💜💜
Getting these videos from parents is THE best part of what I do!
My whole purpose is to help kiddos and families get the most out of life! Isn’t that what it’s about for us all?!
When I started working with this little man, he was terrified of standing even with support provided. Now he’s confident enough to achieve standing on his own!! 🥹🥹
This is what his mom wrote: “He has been doing it for 2 hours straight and claps after every time. It’s amazing!”
This little man is AMAZING!!!
Grateful for what I get to do, each and every day!!!
Mom’s group has become one of my favorite events!
It’s more than just about learning, it’s about connection, support and togetherness. In a world that has learned to function individually, togetherness is such an important missing piece to the puzzle!
Join us this Friday or if you can’t make it this week, DM for the spring and summer schedule!
No @tjmaxx stop is complete without a stop in the toy isle! Here are my 4 top toys from this trip: ✔️Wooden push walker: absolutely love this one! Why? Comes with color blocks, grip wheels and gives you the opportunity to weigh it down for heavy work! It was a whopping $17 💪🏻 ✔️The Battat sorter: can be used as early as 5-6 months! Because of its height it’s excellent for the early sitter! Brings the floor up to the arms for stability and push off! 🧱 ✔️V-tech light and move learning ball: this toy has stuck around! Excellent for propped sitting and for your early mover! Grabs your littles’ attention and rolls to get them moving! 👶🏻 ✔️Magna tiles speak for themselves: a versatile toy that gets their creativity muscle pumping 🧠 ✔️What are your favorite toys? Are you looking for recommendations? Share and comment below! 💜
Question was cut off and tech is not my forte 🤣🤣 “When should I consider seeing a physical therapist?”
Happy Friday!!! 😄
I haven’t been on here for a bit, but really needed to share this message.
When your child is receiving treatment for torticollis or an asymmetrical crawl pattern, your provider should be assessing and treating the trunk.
If the trunk is not addressed with torticollis and focus is only on the neck, you won’t be getting long lasting effects because you’re not addressing the CAUSE.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out or comment below if you have any questions. Always here for you 💜
THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts to our family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, the families that I am so fortunate to work with! This community is beyond amazing and I feel so fortunate to be a part of it! I always say that the families and kiddos that I get to work with teach me more then I teach them. The greatest lesson is RESILIENCE! So excited to be back and to be able to pay it forward 💜
Shoes, shoes, shoes! Why they’re important and what to get 👟🥾

Looking forward to joining @paxchiro next Saturday 11/20 at 10am to discuss how gross motor milestones are related to learning and school performance! 💪🏻📚
It’ll be a fun and informative play date, with some yummies too! 🧁😋
Message us or comment below with questions! See you soon!
Our kids are going to fall, it’s inevitable. What matters is how we help (or sometimes don’t) in teaching them to fall safely. Don’t wait until your little one is walking to teach them how to fall.
Reach out should you have any questions. We’re here for you! 💜
You’ve got side-lying down? What’s next?!
Try this transitional activity to build trunk and arm strength, and teach your little one to transition from laying on their back and side to sitting 😄
Don’t hesitate to reach out should you have any questions. Comment below, send a DM or email, and don’t forget to take advantage of a 15 minute free virtual consult 💜
Something about the rustling of the leaves and the sounds of kids being kids! 🌞☀️💜 Happy Saturday everyone!
So much to say about this! But it’s Saturday so I’ll be quick! Balance, strength, visual perception, proprioceptive feedback, vestibular input, bravery (this is about 100ft in the air) and most importantly, FUN! Have a great weekend everyone! 💜
