EMS Explorer Post 43 We are the only EMS Explorer Post in the New York City Area! Come Visit us Thursdays 6-8 at Volunteer Heart 460 Brielle Ave (Grounds of Seaview Hosp.)!

Explorer Post 43 is part of the Boy scouts of America learning for life program. We are a career-oriented based organization for Emergency Services/Management. Our members are youths ranging from ages 14-20 with guidance through advisors who are certified EMT's or medical professionals. All members recieve basic First-Aid and CPR training, learn basic search and rescue techniques, triage and many more useful skills in the Medical Field. We are always looking for new Members.

Our condolences to the members of the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) and the family/friends of Battalion Chief Michael Fahy, 19th Battalion, who was killed in the line of duty, this morning while operating at an emergency in the Bronx. May he rest in peace.

With the impending storm upon us, we may be needed to help and assist our community in any way possible. We have been activated in the past for medical coverage at shelters, going out with Metro and may also be needed to help volunteer heart....if and when that time comes.
