I am on the train this morning and this man who is deaf comes on with his donation bucket and starts making sounds and gesturing people to help him. I've run into him many times - some times I put a dollar in his bucket, and sometimes I don't look at him at all , feeling a resistance inside of me not wanting to see something sad or painful.
This morning when he came on, I thought: 9h, here he is again!! I saw a couple people put money in his bucket. It warmed my heart but today I didn't have any spare change. He stood right in front of me. I decided to genuinely connect with him and flow compassion. I smiled at him and with Ahn language and his special way of talking he said: "God bless you. ". I said to him : God bless you too and he waved back at me and we had a genuine heart to heart connection. It was so powerful that it brought tears to my eyes. I connected to this human being from my heart and it returned to me SO much love and compassion that it overflowed from my heart out of my eyes!!
And you know what, I was asking myself this morning, who do I need to extend compassion to, today?
Voila😍💖
I shall continue - much love to all you precious Avatar sangha beings and much love to precious humanity.
