1. Disconnect. It’s so important to turn off creating new habits. Try spending your first hour of your day setting your own plans and agenda. You should be proactive in setting the direction of your day, not reactive.
2. Monitor your sleep and make adjustments for better sleep habits. Sleep is like nutrition for the brain. Most people need between 7 and 9 hours each night.
3. Increase your fruit and veggie intake. Several studies point to the link between the consumption of fruits and vegetables and better mental health.
