ATTENTION Neighbors: In light of the current situation, we are opening our doors to families who are in need of temporary care for their little ones. We are offering a 3 hour relief program for parents or caregivers offered at various times of the day, right here in a Port Jefferson Station kids gym. Your little love will be cared for by two parents, an Occupational Therapist and a Childcare Specialist. We have limited spots as we are only accepting a very low number of children at a time to keep groups to a minimum (less than 8 as a precaution (many other precautions, too long to list here will be followed as well). Whether you need to visit an older adult (children are prohibited in nursing homes, and some are on lockdown), or need to go to work (hospital/healthcare workers) we are here. We were to open as a sensory gym, however due to the current crisis, some parents are stuck in a tough situation and don't have any options, especially single parents. OF COURSE if you are able to keep your children home with you, that is highly recommended. Should the government shut down all business, we will of course close immediately as well, we are playing by ear just like the rest of the community. Stay healthy everyone! 🙂
