Looking for easy ways to increase your fiber intake? Look no further 👀

These snacks all provide at least 5 grams of fiber per serving to help you work toward your fiber goals - and they’re all simple, portable, and great for on the go.

Fiber plays an important role in digestion, blood sugar balance, heart health, and satiety, yet most people fall short. These snacks also have protein to help keep you satisfied longer, so it’s a win-win!

Save this post for later and keep it handy next time snack time hits.

Happy New Year! ✨

With this being the first full week of 2026, it often comes with restrictive goal-setting that feels motivating at first…and is usually gone by February.

Instead, let’s take a gentler (and more sustainable) approach to wellness this year.

From a dietitian’s perspective, supporting our body and gut often looks like:
• eating regular meals
• prioritizing food before supplements
• adding variety instead of restricting
• caring for stress and sleep alongside nutrition
• building habits that actually fit your life

You don’t need extreme rules or perfection. Instead focus on enough food, steady routines, and patience 🤍

If digestion feels off during the holidays, you’re not alone! Small, consistent habits can make a big difference.

Travel, stress, schedule changes, altered sleep, and inconsistent meals can all impact gut motility, sometimes leading to bloating, gas, or constipation. The good news? Supporting digestion doesn’t require detoxes or restriction. It’s about small, consistent habits: eating regularly, including fiber and fluids, moving your body, and slowing down while eating.

Swipe through for dietitian-approved tips to keep your gut happy during the holiday season!

If this resonates with you, feel free to reach out. I’m accepting new patients, take insurance (!!), and would love to support you on your journey to feeling good from the inside out.

What if the secret to fewer crashes and cravings starts with your first meal?

Protein is being added to everything right now… oats, coffee, even water (yes, really). And while meeting your protein needs is important, it doesn’t have to be complicated. Protein helps keep you full, supports lean muscle mass, promotes weight maintenance, and stabilizes blood sugar.

But instead of chasing every “high-protein” product out there, sticking to the basics can go a long way in helping you meet your protein goals. For a very general recommendation, I like aiming for around 20 grams of protein at breakfast. Getting enough protein in the morning can make a huge difference in how you feel the rest of the day — fewer crashes, less snacking, and fewer sugar cravings.

Even though today’s post is focused on morning protein, I’ll also share how to build a balanced breakfast (more on that in future posts!).
So here are 3 RD-approved breakfast ideas with 20+ grams of protein:
1️⃣ Greek yogurt bowl
2️⃣ egg + cheese scramble with sautéed veggies + toast
3️⃣ berry protein smoothie

Save this for your next breakfast inspo! 🌞🥣

When the weather turns chilly, tea becomes more than a drink — it’s a warm moment of calm. But each blend also has unique nutrition perks!

And here’s a fun fact — tea counts toward your daily water goal. It’s a cozy, flavorful way to stay hydrated and boost your fluid intake throughout the day. Swipe through to find out how your favorite tea — from ginger to green to rooibos — can support digestion, relaxation, and overall wellness 🌿💛

Fiber is having a moment — and for good reason! 🌿 It supports healthy digestion, balances blood sugar, nourishes good gut bacteria, lowers cholesterol, and can even reduce the risk of chronic disease.

But here’s the thing: most Americans don’t get enough fiber — studies show at least 90% fall short of the daily recommendations (which start at 25 grams per day).

If you’ve been trying to boost your intake but end up bloated or uncomfortable, this post is for you. Use it as your guide to increase fiber the right way — for a happy, healthy gut! 💚
