"Dr. Douglas Buxon is in my humble opinion, the most knowledgeable and competent Opthamologist Specialist in his profession. When we came to him, my Mother was in a very poor condition. She was treated very poorly and had inferior medical care prior to arriving to see him. My Mother would probably be totally blind if not for the integral part he played in restoring her eyesight after having a negative encounter with an incompetent group of doctors that were not nearly as proficient in their diagnosis and treatment for her needs. I sincerely wish that we had come to him and his team at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary at the onset of my Mothers deteriorating visual challenges. I highly recommend that if anyone reading this post have ANY optical challenges that Dr. Buxton be one that you seek out FIRST to evaluate your condition.

Its been nearly ten (10) years, at least five (5) surgeries and I am happy to report that Dr. Buxton is STILL passionate, compassionate, professional, well informed as well as informing, proactive ( in his synopsis ) with a high level of integrity ( absolutely NOT practicing for economic gain ) I have personally discerned that he loves helping people.
