So here's the 2 ingredient cottage cheese bagels.

💯 Yum.
(even the other two taste testers agree!) 😊

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! ❤️

Just wanted to touch base before the kids go back to school....

✅Seniors... EQAO and exams start soon.. I'll be hosting specific sessions to help you study and prep for them. I'm thinking Saturday mornings at 1030 at the West Lorne library.
This is ON TOP of our regular learning during the sessions. **If you're interested in those let me know, bring a friend and we will work together. (cost to be determined)

✅Juniors... I will be in touch for our sessions. Will be business as usual and I'd like us to work hard to get those next term reports improved to where we know they can be! **Remember to try and read everything you see.. Labels, recipes, newspapers, etc.. It all helps us practice.

➡️Think we will wait til the week of the 12th to resume and as usual.. PLEASE don't attend if you feel unwell or have recently been sick. I will do the same as you minimize the germ spread. 🤧

***Parents/families on my wait list. I am working on that learning package for you to work on with your kids..will reach out once it's complete.. I didn't forget about you!! Thank you for your patience. ❤️

Hi all! :)

Just a qwik update on product orders this holiday season.

As some of you know, I started a new job with CIBC as a Mortgage Advisor Assistant back in June and have been tutoring and coaching the kids as well.... In fact, I am out of hours and unfortunately have a waiting list!!
(Sorry to those of you I can not help right now) :(
So I work every morning for CIBC and every afternoon for Healthy ME. Saturdays too!!

Needless to say, I have been swamped. Hence, me not making anything all year long and just now posting about what is available.
*sigh

SO .....if you would like anything please ask.

But what I was considering making was the Christmas Ribbon soap, the small gingerbread guys for the kids and the Tub Tea. I do have an assortment of scents - and was going to focus on Eucalyptus and Lavender.

No pressure to order; just thought I should post about it in case you wanted to order like you do every year!! LOL

Guess being too busy is a good problem to have - sometimes.
Unless it gets in the way of my exercising - then I quit!!!!! HAHA

(funny not funny :) )

Hey you guys! Thanks for being patient with me while I took some time off this week. Boy did I need that time to clear my mind and regroup.

You ever do that? Be alone with yourself to think? To reflect and regroup your thoughts and life choices?

I HAVE to do it regularly or I get overloaded and scattered. If I don't exercise and spend time WITH myself ON myself I get pretty miserable to be quite honest. (did you see the tshirt I bought with it on it?!?!? LOL)

So thank you.

And this time away has opened the thought processes of what comes next for my students and the products and services of this business (that is FIVE YEARS old btw :) )

So over the next little bit you will see a shift in things as I navigate what's next for me.

I appreciate your endless support, and encouraging words and feedback - this is my busiest year and look forward to what's to come!

Yes. There was time when I didn't know what protein was. 🤫

I had just had a baby and was struggling to feel better.
"Lunch meat, or peanut butter" was her answer.

Wow. Ok. Huh. I didn't know it would help.🙃

Fast forward to today.

Protein is the building blocks for muscles, bones, skin and helps maintain hormone balance and immune system strength. Eating things like fish, chicken, cottage cheese, nuts, and eggs keeps us feeling fuller, longer due to the time it takes to be broken down by our tummies. They actually work hand in hand with the hormones that are regulate digestion so that they are not as expedited as quickly as refined carbs and sugar are.

But too much protein isn't good for you either and a suggested daily intake of .36 grams per pound of body weight is recommended.

- Example - 200 lb person x .36=72 grams of protein per day

**(consult your healthcare provider to see what is right for you)

By exercising regularly, resting well, drinking water, having a positive mindset, and eating a balanced diet of veggies, fruits, proteins and complex carbohydrates, our bodies should function optimally.

As I prepare for Back to School coaching, I want you to know that I've been working on the balance of my life.

See, I've been doing this a long time.
Coaching. Guiding. Empowering.
At the school. At the gym. As a parent.

And I'm at the point in my life where I have created some habits that I have dug deep into. Ones I'm not willing to budge on and others I'm flexible and open to learn on.

And it's okay to put myself first.

In fact, I NEED to sometimes so that I can be better at helping you. To show up for us both.
To stand tall and own our space.

So I've learned to put in the work to get what I want.
To be vulnerable with myself.. Because that's when we can be open, we can be honest, and we can talk to ourselves to create pathways in order to be successful and sustainable.

But don't let this world, and those who don't see how legendary you are, bring you down, derail you or let you forget for one second how remarkable you are!

Because this world and your life deserve beauty, love, compassion, kindness and strength.

Together we can do great things.... But it all begins with you and your mindset.

Let's do this. ♥️

This time of year is always emotional for me.

Although my own children have all graduated high school awhile ago, the ones I work with all year long are still going!!

From the first time we met, to year after year of grade completion, I am SO proud of you.

You work so hard! You've grown in so many ways - my favourite is when you can't wait to show me your test, your finished project or assignments.... Even the dreaded report card!

Today is the day! 😁👍

Our 4th Annual Outdoor Activity Challenge!

Each year on the first of June we encourage one another to create a healthy habit and hopefully stick to it all year through.

Years past have been 10 days straight but I just know you can do it for 2 full weeks!😳

Investing in your health should be a priority. Mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well being at the forefront of your decisions can help lead a healthy balanced life overall.

We are here doing it with you. This team of warriors will support, encourage and motivate you through this nature challenge.🌿🌺

Yah that's right. It's not JUST about physical activity outside, but sitting reading a book, having a picnic with a friend, listening to the birds etc.🐦💖

The conscious decision to sit and engage outdoors for 14 days can really make a difference in your life!

So, the "rules" of this..🤣

➡️Each day, starting today, for 14 days, take a photo of being outdoors... And what you're doing. You don't have to be in the photo yourself, just the activity you're doing for at least 30 minutes. Tag or myself in it and you are entered into the draw for prizes at the end!

There is usual a post that you can piggyback off of so you don't have to make your own.

Seeing people engaged in active, outdoor healthy choices is not only inspiring for themselves but also motivates others to do so!

So grab your water, dress appropriately and get ready to have some fun!
