Yes, women's bodies, and what they do with them, is still being voted on by - surprise, surprise - a bunch of white (mostly) blokes.⁠

In case you missed it, the Alabama Supreme Court just dropped a bombshell ruling, deciding that frozen embryos are now legally considered 'children', meaning that anyone who destroys them can be liable for wrongful death.⁠

This law is sending shockwaves through the world of reproductive medicine, throwing the future of IVF treatments in the state into doubt, with a host of healthcare providers in the state suspending the service.⁠
