The scale doesn’t measure fat loss, it measures everything—water, muscle, waste, inflammation, and what you ate yesterday.
If the only way you define success is a number that changes daily, you’ll always feel like you’re failing.
Here’s what should matter:
Are your clothes fitting better?
Are you getting stronger in your workouts?
Is your energy more stable?
Are your cravings down?
Are you thinking about food less?
That’s a working metabolism and that’s what's what should define your success.
This is from Weight Loss Rewired, my book coming out in October.
Because the goal should never be the number on the scale. It should be results you can feel.
