The Oncology Research Team at University Hospital works diligently alongside patients and doctors on clinical trials to discover new ways to prevent, find, and treat cancer. Clinical trials are offered in a variety of oncology-related areas, including genitourinary, lung, head and neck, gastrointestinal, cell therapy, breast, gynecology, neurology, and more. Last week, the Cancer Center opened Phase 1 of the new infusion area! Thank you to everyone who helped in the construction and opening of our new healing space.

The construction of the new infusion space will take place in 4 phases and will be complete by the end of 2025.

This week, we celebrated the Mammography in Motion program 1 Year Anniversary at the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center! This event allowed University Hospital and Mammography in Motion partners to come together and celebrate the hard work that has been put into this program.

Colorectal cancer is the 4th most diagnosed cancer and the 2nd cause of death in the United States. 1 in 24 people will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer in their lifetime. Colorectal cancer is treatable if detected early. Early detection saves lives!
