We have been super busy in the month of May!

May is foster care awareness month and we were excited to celebrate by being active in the community!

🎉On May 7, 2026, TFC Parent Dolevera Robinson was recognized on the Senate floor during the National Foster Care Month proclamation signing, with support from the TFC Recruiter and TFC Supervisor.

🎉On May 13, 2026, Pressley Ridge was invited to the House of Representatives floor by Rep. Alonna Berryin recognition of the organization’s trauma-informed work.

🎉On May 18, 2026, Pressley Ridge attended the 2026 Delaware Congressional Delegation Youth Conference, featuring U.S. Senator Chris C***s, U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester, and Congresswoman Sarah McBride. Participants engaged in a service project highlighting the Four Core Connections through the creation of a “HOPE” quilt. Staff are pictured with Senator C***s and his contribution to the project.

🎉 On May 21, 2026 Pressley Ridge TFC parents & staff attend the statewide NFCM Conference where TFC parent Emma Trammel was recognized for 25 years of service with Pressley Ridge.

Matt and Donna Griggs never planned on becoming foster parents. But after caring for their nieces for nearly a decade, a single conversation changed everything. It opened their eyes to the world of treatment foster care and set them on an incredible journey.

Since getting licensed through Pressley Ridge in 2021, they've welcomed 16 children into their home, offering love, stability, and a place to belong. Their story is a powerful reminder that sometimes, the most fulfilling paths are the ones we never expected to take. 💪
