Taiwan Interactive Digital Center (TiDC)
Eon Reality Taiwan, Canaan Group, TXI Center and USBCT is now launching Taipei “AVR Startup Talks” and will be held the offices of Eon Reality Taiwan and the new Taiwan Interactive Digital Center (TiDC). Our focus will be on Augmented Virtual Reality. However since AVR is the CENTER of all other Emerging Technologies there will be many related talks centered around AVR. AVR is the “visualization” or the “eyes” for the Internet of Things (IoT devices) that let you “see inside machines”. AVR is the “eyes” and center of Artificial Intelligence. Using a mobile, iPad or wearing AR glasses one can have “real time” Augmented Reality or AR Assist, giving you intelligence where you need it, when you need. AVR also operates in the cloud. Perhaps you have networked all your machines together in your manufacturing plant. Your plant manager dons his or her “AR glasses” walks through the factor and can see (with IoT devices sending signals) what machine needs (MRO Maintenance Repair Operations) to be “fixed”. The manager can stop in front of the machine, the glasses “look” at the machine with a camera on the glasses, match that real physical machine with a “digital twin” in the could or a virtual copy of this real machine, the “AI” then grabs the manual on how to fix this machine, runs it through the AI, then projects this in front of the manager, onto the machine, showing the manager how to open the machine, fix it, close it up, and make a note (annotation) in virtual space over the machine so they can have a record of it on the next visit or anyone else looking at that machine can tell what was done, when, why and how.
