Abraham's Table The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides funds to reimburse the cost of providing food for children in low income areas during the summer months.

As a first step to support of the nutritional well-being of the children of Newburgh, Abraham’s Table, proposes to sponsor the United States Department of Agriculture Summer Food Service Program. Abraham’s Table will apply for sponsorship to the approving agency in New York State , New York State Education Department, Division of Child Nutrition Programs Administration. Abraham’s Table is a nonprofit 501 (c ) 3 operating in the Enlarged School District of the City of Newburgh, New York. The purpose of Abraham’s Table is to provide nutritious meals for children, 2 to 18 years of age, living in the City of Newburgh during periods when school is closed and the federal child nutrition programs, school breakfast, school lunch and after-school snack programs are not available to them.
