Person-centered care is about more than meeting physical needs- it’s about honoring each resident’s individuality, passions, and purpose. Recently, we had the opportunity to build a raised flower bed alongside of a few residents and the experience was truly amazing! The flower beds may bloom with flowers, but the greatest growth came from the connections we shared. Jim was a huge help!

We decided to have some cars of our own in this race. Many weeks of planning and preparing for our very own Derby race and we are thrilled to hear….. start your engines!🏁🏎️

We are proud to continue educating and empowering our community through professional development and compassionate care.
This week, we hosted an intense in-service training for all of the staff focusing on dementia and Alzheimer’s care. The training provided valuable education on understanding the challenges individuals and families face, improving communication techniques, recognizing stages of cognitive decline, and delivering person-centered support with dignity and compassion.
We are strengthening our commitment to providing quality of care and creating a more informed and supportive community for those affected by dementia and Alzheimer’s. Together, we continue building a stronger, more compassionate future for our community!

Happy One Year Anniversary to our residents, staff, and families! We celebrated today with amazing music, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and so many smiles and laughs. This endeavor has been a labor of love and it has been an honor to become such an important part of each other’s lives and the healthcare network here in southern Indiana. Recently, we used creativity to make personalized wreaths for our apartment doors. Each wreath was designed differently to reflect individuals, personalities, favorite color and unique ideas. What started as a simple activity became a fun and meaningful way to express ourselves and bring warmth to our community.
