Here’s 3 tips for quitting p**n.
Tip number one, it’s a skills issue.
You’re not broken.
There’s nothing wrong with you.
It’s not the devil.
You’re not addicted.
It’s just a skill issue.
You don’t know how to say no in the moment that counts.
Tip number two, your brain will work against you.
Your brain will work against you in quitting.
P**n is your brain’s safety blanket.
It’s what it goes to when you’re stressed, you’re bored, you’re anxious, whatever negative emotion, that’s why you’re using it.
And when you threaten to take away the safety blanket, your brain freaks out.
It will give you thoughts like, I can’t do this, this is too hard.
Because when you think those thoughts, you believe them.
And then you feel defeated.
You feel like it’s too hard.
And so then you don’t take action.
You give up instead of learning how.
And that’s exactly what your brain wants.
Tip number three, get help, man.
Why would you tackle something that seems like the hardest thing you’ll ever do in your life without the skills, thinking that you could figure it out?
Your brain’s limitation is the issue.
You can’t think outside the box because you’re in the box.
You need someone else to point it out to you.
It saves you so much time.
You can be free of this in 6 weeks.
Literally done.
You’ll look back and say, why did I ever do that?
Because I wasted years when I could have been done in a month or two.
It’s nuts.
I’ll be on Zoom today at 4 PM Eastern time talking about how to never watch p**n again.
That’s the name of my webinar, Never Watch P**n Again.
You can sign up at neverwatchp**nagain.com.
And I’ll see you there.
