Building a healthy plate doesn’t have to be perfect or stressful. The truth is, your meals don’t need to follow strict rules to be “good enough.” Instead of obsessing over calories or cutting out foods, focus on what helps your body feel full, energized, and satisfied.

Start by including all three macronutrients (carbs, protein, and fats). Add color with fruits or veggies, and stop skipping meals to “save calories.” That often backfires and leads to more cravings later in the day. Also, let go of the idea that food is either “good” or “bad.” It’s just food, and you get to decide what works for your body.
