In Chinese Medicine, we never ice injuries because it obstructs healing. Instead, we do things that increase the circulation to the injured area. This reduces swelling and pain, and speeds healing.
smh.com.au There's little evidence ice is good for injuries like rolled ankles. Now, some researchers suspect it may delay the healing process.

Acupuncture, or in this case acu-pick-ture, isn't just for pain.
Here I am in the Lincoln County News. I'm pretty happy with the article, though she didn't mention that I can help with a whole lot more than pain and emotional imbalance. I've also had a great deal of success with fertility and gynecological issues, digestive issues, insomnia, allergies, hypertension, high cholesterol, and much more.
I'm also offering a 50% off introductory special on a series of NAET treatments to eliminate allergies.

Modern science is finally catching up with what Chinese Medicine has known for centuries. Icing injuries slows down healing. That's why I sell my colleague Aram Nalbandyan's incredible X-Jow herbal liniment instead -- it speeds up healing by increasing circulation to the injury, and relieves pain at the same time.

livingthenourishedlife.com Do you ever get the feeling you’re doing everything “right” for your health and still getting nowhere? Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. I’ve felt that way dozens of times during the last few years since I began my health journey. And it is sooooo frustrating!
If you drink diet soda, you should read this. They're finding that sugar substitutes increase appetite and cause more weight gain. It's actually healthier to drink regular soda than diet. And, of course, it's best to not drink soda at all.
Research presented at the American Stroke Association's International Stroke Conference in 2011 showed that drinking just one diet #soda a day may increase your risk of stroke by 48%. Ideally, strive to eliminate all soda from your diet, as just one can of regular soda contains nearly twice my recommended daily allowance for fructose in order to maintain good #health and prevent disease. My position on GMO labelling is actually that I would love to know which exact strain of GMO is in the food. This is because I'm not against the concept of GMO food, I'm against the dominant strains of GMO food in the America food system. One example is a study that found hamsters fed only Bt soy produced total sterility by the third generation. In the US, if soy isn't organic, it's probably Bt soy.
We are thrilled to tell you that a short while ago, the Senate amended and voted on HB 6527, the GMO labeling bill voted on by the House last Thursday. After several days of intense negotiation between the Senate, the House, and the Governor's office, a compromise was reached this afternoon. All four leaders of the House and Senate, Senator Williams, Senator McKinney, Representative Sharkey, and Representative Cafero, are all sponsors of the amended bill.
Today's GMO labeling agreement is historic and we are proud to have played a role in its development. YOU should all be proud. Connecticut will now set the standard for states around the country to follow. We are grateful to all who worked to make this possible. Thank you to all our champions in the House and the Senate.
This agreement will provide momentum for our fellow activists throughout the country as they fight to know what is in the food they feed their families. We are confident that our counterparts throughout the country and the northeast will accomplish what we have in Connecticut. We pledge our support to them. We urge lawmakers across the country to follow Connecticut's lead and give their citizens the right to know.
We just took on the most powerful industry on the globe and the power of the people triumphed. Congratulations to each and every one you. The House will be voting on the bill after the weekend.

In Chinese Medicine, we advocate balance and moderation in everything, including diet. Vegetarian and vegan diets are, by definition, extreme and not moderate. While it is possible to be healthy as a vegetarian, it is tricky and requires diligence with respect to diet and supplements. It is even more difficult to be a healthy vegan, because vegetarians can still eat things like eggs and butter. This is especially true for a woman who intends to have or has a baby.
