We’d like to take this opportunity to recognize our incredible Parents as Teachers (PAT) Parent Educators and thank them for their dedication, compassion, and unwavering support for every PAT family.

Parent Educators do more than share knowledge, they build trust, listen with empathy, and affirm families’ experiences. Parents as Teachers Day 2025 is both a celebration and a call to action — a time to honor the stories, milestones, and successes that show what’s possible when we invest in early childhood and empower parents and caregivers as leaders.

This , we proudly celebrate the home visitors, doulas, and parent educators who walk alongside families every step of the way. Let’s uplift their voices, share their stories, and recognize the vital role they play in helping families thrive. 💙

🎃👻 Halloween Family Safety Tips 👻🎃

Costume Safety: Choose bright or reflective costumes, and make sure masks don’t block vision. 🌟
Trick-or-Treat in Groups: Always go with a buddy or adult supervision. 👫
Stick to Safe Routes: Walk on sidewalks, cross streets at crosswalks, and avoid dark or unfamiliar areas. 🚶‍♂️
Check Treats: Inspect candy before eating to ensure it’s safe. 🍬
Glow & Light Up: Carry a flashlight or glow stick so everyone is visible. 🕯️
Stay in Costume Comfort Zone: Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothes. 👟🧥
Set Boundaries: Pre-plan your route and set a curfew for trick-or-treating. 🗺️
Pumpkin Safety: Use battery-operated candles instead of real flames in jack-o’-lanterns. 🎃

📣 Outstanding work, TSET Healthy Living Program, Serving Garvin County. Thank you for your continued dedication to supporting our community and making a positive impact.

Thanks to a TSET Healthy Incentive Grant, Lindsay Public Schools received funds to renovate their walking trail. The upgraded trail now provides a safe, inclusive outdoor space where students, staff and community members can engage in physical activity, support wellness and build social connections. This project enhances access to shared natural spaces and encourages a healthier, more active lifestyle for all.

Congratulations to Lindsay Public Schools and thank you for your commitment to creating healthier environments for students and the broader community to thrive.
