It's so important that we all have an understanding of how to identify signs of substance abuse - it can save a persons life, and maybe this person is your loved one?

There are a handful of ways that a person developing an addiction can signal if they're struggling, and you'll want to be aware of them should you suspect that a person close to you is using drugs or other substances.

Signs of substance abuse include:

Are you dealing with a case of the winter blues?

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), also known as “winter blues,” is a severe disorder that can become challenging to overcome. SAD is a type of seasonal depression as severe as major depressive disorder, which shares many symptoms, like fear, stress, and anxiety; which can interfere with your daily life.

It’s so important not to let the rush of the holiday season and gatherings distract us from sobriety.

For many, the holidays involve gathering with loved ones and might involve past traditions where you drank alcohol or used substances. There are so many benefits of exercise in addiction recovery like stress reduction, better sleep, improved mood, increased energy, and it can even prevent relapse.
