Her first session is designed to create a rapport and understanding of the client needs and goals and works collaboratively to support the goals. Lisa also understands that not all clients have a clear goal in mind at the initial sessions and works with the clients to provide the best support care which may include facilitating an environment to safely talk about problems and issues that may be occurring. Depending on the objectives defined in the initial sessions, Lisa will generally meet with clients one time per week unless more sessions are needed for various circumstances including crisis or the desire for additional support and help.
