Just a little car selfie to remind you to register for my webinar tomorrow!

I’m gonna be talking about being proactive with your fertility. It will be great if fertility is something you want info on for the future but aren’t quite ready yet.

I’ll be answering questions like:
When is the right time to think about my fertility?
What factors impact my fertility?
How does lifestyle affect fertility?
Is it true that fertility drops significantly at age 35?
How do fertility treatments like egg freezing work?
What is the process for egg-freezing?
How should I prepare for my own fertility journey?

For details see the info in my stories!

It is National Women Physicians Day!

I am very proud to be a woman physician. I am the first doctor in my family and am honored by being able to do my job and help other women and people plan and grow their families.

This isn’t to say being a woman physician isn’t hard. It is a ton of school, testing, and education. It is working long hours and getting little sleep. It is making sacrifices and missing loved ones major life events to help others.

As a woman and as a mom, it can be challenging to balance it all. Like all people, I have hardships and difficult days. My kids get sick or injured. My husband has to travel for work. Despite it all I just keep going. I try to not only be super doctor, but super mom and wife and woman!

I think it makes me a better doctor though - especially in my field where many women have and continue to struggle with a variety of issues. As a woman who has had struggles of her own, I get it. I sympathize and I know how hard it is to juggle it all.

Female physicians have been linked to improved patient outcomes in numerous studies. There can be a level of care there that can be hard to come by.

I love my job, my patients, and my colleagues. Today is a day to honor all the hard working female doctors. To acknowledge their efforts, the seen and unseen care, their dedication, and love they have for what they do.

🚨 BREAKING: Washington, D.C. – ASRM applauds the introduction of the Right to Build Families Act of 2022, also known as the IVF Protection Bill by Sen. Tammy Duckworth (IL), Sen. Patty Murray (WA), and Rep. Susan Wild (PA).

ASRM has been hearing from our members about the very real anxiety that patients have reported since the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health decision. Although IVF is still legal in all 50 states, ASRM is vigilant and committed to protecting patients’ rights and access to family building in perpetuity. ASRM is concerned that in the rush of some states to pass ‘personhood’ bills in January, states may also inadvertently or purposefully ban IVF. The decision to start a family is not a political matter. In order for Americans to exercise their fundamental right to build their own families, they must have access to assisted reproductive technologies. Regardless of partisan politics at the state level, the right to become a parent must be protected. To date, more than one million infants have been born through the availability of assisted reproductive technologies like IVF. Every American seeking to exercise their fundamental right to family building should have unhindered access to assisted reproductive technologies, regardless of zip code, employment status, a decision to become a solo parent, and who they love. That’s why the time is now to enact the Right to Build Families Act. The Right to Build Families Act will provide an important federal backstop to protect access for patients seeking to build their families through assisted reproduction technologies including IVF.

📣 📣 You can act now by contacting your members of congress and asking them to support this very important bill and protect the future of IVF and ART at the Voter Voice link in bio!

ROUND OF APPLAUSE 👏 👏 👏 👏

To all out there struggling with anxiety, take a look at this study in

It looks at people within anxiety and split them into groups of mindfulness vs medication.

After 2 months, people in a weekly mindfulness program saw their anxiety decrease the same amount as patients taking anxiety meds like Lexapro (generic name: escitalopram).

It is amazing that this study was done and I think that the results can really show how helpful mindfulness can be.

Infertility can often be anxiety filled and This study highlights a non-medication technique that can really help many.
