I’m not talking about seeking solid opinions or advice. I’m talking about desperately polling people whose opinions are often not relevant. It’s a red flag that no one talks about, but it emerged as very common in the research. From “Should I get bangs?” to “Should I let my child do this thing that feels scary to me?”

It’s like when you lose your keys and you start looking in the freezer. Time to take a deep breath and re-evaluate. Normally, we just need quiet and stillness so we can hear our own voice. That’s way harder than polling. spoti.fi/UnlockingUs

Nobody's perfect. The pursuit of perfection will only serve to restrict you, rather than inspire you. Consider ways in which you may be holding yourself to unrealistic expectations. Let go a little and watch yourself learn, take risks, make mistakes, and grow.

In Staten Island today to launch a ministry! Please pray as we trust God for students to lead Cru!

Sarah is on a call RIGHT NOW with 60 Cru leaders from across the country to discuss mission expansion: getting the Gospel to more students and faculty. Currently Cru is on nearly 1 in 4 college campuses in the USA, representing nearly half of the US college population.

Please pray for the campus teams in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan as they meet with students and launch campus ministries across NYC.

Sarah partnered with Cru Military in Newport News, VA to film a training video series for a forth coming app. How exciting! Hundreds of people (perhaps even thousands!) will be able to watch the 6 short videos and learn new skills.

Thanks for praying as Sarah spoke to 40 women from the UN Diplomatic community on behalf of Christian Embassy morning. It went well - and Sarah had a great time, too.

Now I'm out of that suit and heels, wearing yoga pants and slippers while doing laundry and making dinner.

NYC students and Cru staff head to the New Jersey countryside today for the annual fall retreat.

The bright lights of Times Square will give way to stars in the sky and sparks around the campfire.

Last year we had our first major recruiting push for NYC in years. Of this 2014 crowd, 12 people said YES and are either here already or are in the process of transferring.

Last night we hosted a dinner in our home to encourage another group to consider saying YES to God's heart for NYC.
