💙 WOW Moment for Ms. Susan 🎨

We were honored to create a very special WOW moment for our Inspiritás Memory Care resident, Ms. Susan! We took a meaningful trip to Hampton, VA to visit Blue Skies Gallery—where Ms. Susan once painted and sold her beautiful artwork.

As an avid oil painter, she loved revisiting the gallery where her featured paintings were displayed, sharing memories and reconnecting with a passion that means so much to her. To end the day on a perfect note, we enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner—one of Ms. Susan’s favorites! 🦐

Moments like these remind us how important it is to celebrate personal history, passions, and joy every single day. 💙

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful RUI University presentation this week with Robert Kelly, Historic Resources Supervisor for Gloucester Parks, Recreation & Tourism. 🎶✨

✨🎄 What a joyful way to celebrate the season! 🎄✨

We had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays with our residents, families, team members, and members of our surrounding community at our Annual Holiday Party. From a special visit with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, ornament decorating with Art Therapist Emily Basto, a cozy hot cocoa bar, and live entertainment by Stan the Sax Man, to a delicious holiday meal from Taste of RUI—every moment was filled with warmth and cheer.

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful evening performance by the Magic of Harmony Show Chorus, an extraordinary group of talented women from Newport News, VA. 🎄✨ What a joyful way to celebrate the season with our incredible team! We had a wonderful time at our annual Team Member Holiday Party, enjoying delicious catered food, festive fun, and an exciting gift raffle as a small token of our appreciation for the dedication and compassion our team members show every single day.

We were also proud to recognize several outstanding individuals for their exceptional commitment and service: 🌟 Sabrina Blizzard, RMA, our November 2025 Team Member of the Month; 🌟 Caitlin Cook, Caregiver, our December 2025 Team Member of the Month; and 🌟 Tania Senior-Thomas, Caregiver, our 2025 Team Member of the Year. Each of these team members exemplifies our values and the high level of care and service we strive to provide to our residents and families.

Thank you to our residents, families, team members, and vendors who generously participated in our annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive! Because of your kindness, we were able to donate over 60 toys to the Salvation Army—just in time to bring joy to children this Christmas season. ❤️
