my beautiful best friend has always been my favorite hair model.
we share the same taste in everything there is. she has believed in me, even as as my free-spirited erratic creative self kicks in, she encourages it to soar.
our journey began lifetimes before this one, but in our human experience together, we found the courage together to trust, and to create. a union of sisterhood.
she trusted big, too, y’all. she watched me grab full kitchen shears and go to town as my adolescent angst + artistic constipation collided + then ignited via the fuel of hardcore music in the background, and whatever was pissin’ us off that week.
it all began with this one. as an artist, we all have that friend that let us “experiment” on them, our first, and theirs, too. you’re favorite guinea pig holds a special place in your fibers. they are the beginning of your WHY, without you even knowing. the root of nurturing begins w/ your most intimate connections; with self and with others.
i love all the moments + memories, but this is by far my favorite.

call me a sinner, for i never posted this beyond stellar transformation i created w/ ... how?! every time i see it, i am ☠️
it’s so fulfilling to take care of one another in this industry, and dammit it’s a must. reshape your circle if it doesn’t look like this kind of tic from one stylist to another ⚡️🌙
did a million , lots of toning w/ 9gi of course, a mad scientist concoction that i will never remember for her root smudge 🤣, lots of taping w/ varying for a dimensional finish, lots of snacks, delirious laughs, bonding, sore shoulders, and lots of hours later, and voilá... a god damn masterpiece before i send you off to portugal!
