Newport, Rhode Island Itinerary
Start your morning with a coffee at Harvest Coffee Roasters or Nitro Bar.
Walk along the Cliff walk and see the iconic Breakers Vanderbilt mansion.
Walk along Thames street for shopping and some fudge as a sweet treat.
If you have a car, drive the Ocean Drive Scenic Loop (10 miles) or go for a walk at Fort Adam’s State Park.
The Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge is also gorgeous for site seeing.
We took a harbor cruise and loved seeing all of the boats and lighthouses.
Newport Craft Brewing and Distilling Co is great for dinner.
If you like wine, Greenvale Vineyards is beautiful during fall and if you’re there on a weekend, enjoy their live music.
I love anything nautical so the Castle Hill Lighhouse is another gorgeous spot during fall.
Bowens Wharf saved me the first time we visited and I arrived at the airport too late to check a bag, so I could only bring what I could carry on.
