Marin Community Clinics is a nonprofit organization that is a vital link for thousands of uninsured and low-income women, men, and children who cannot afford health insurance or private health care. For 50 years, Marin Community Clinics — an independent, nonprofit organization — has served as an essential partner in the health care system for our entire community. Without the community support Marin Community Clinics receives, thousands of women, men, teens, and children would have little or no access to regular, ongoing medical care. The presence of Marin Community Clinics means more children are receiving regular check-ups and are immunized, employees can stay healthier, and medical problems are addressed before they become life-threatening, expensive to treat, and use public dollars.

Orthodox Easter, also known as Pascha, will be observed on Sunday, April 12, 2026 by Eastern Orthodox Christian communities worldwide. Unlike Western Easter, Orthodox Easter is calculated using the Julian calendar, which is why the date often falls later in the spring.

Pascha marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ and is the most important celebration in the Eastern Orthodox tradition, observed with Holy Week services, midnight vigils, and long‑standing cultural customs.

Colon cancer often shows no symptoms in its early stages, which is why screening is so important. When found early, the survival rate is high.
Screening can detect cancer early or even prevent it by finding and removing precancerous polyps.
✅ Take action: If you’re 45 or older, or have a family history, don’t wait. Call your healthcare provider and ask about colon cancer screening.

Our Story

Marin Community Clinics (MCC), a federally qualified health center, is the largest provider of comprehensive primary care, oral health, and behavioral health services to low-income residents (those earning less than 200% federal poverty level) in Marin County, California. Founded in 1972 as a free clinic at a local church, its mission today is to improve the health of patients and community by providing high quality, cost-effective, culturally sensitive, patient-centered health care.

Marin County faces unusual health care challenges. While the county itself is among the most affluent in the nation, it has pockets of low-income populations such as the Canal neighborhood of San Rafael that are impoverished and where residents face difficulty in meeting basic needs such as food, shelter, and health care. Without the community support Marin Community Clinics receives, thousands of women, men, teens, and children would have little or no access to regular, ongoing medical care. The presence of Marin Community Clinics means more people are receiving regular check-ups and are immunized, employees can stay healthier, and medical problems are addressed before they become life-threatening, expensive to treat, and use public dollars.
