We are so excited to share that today marks exactly one year since we started our ACLS and PALS recertification programs and have had 200 learners get their recertifications through us!

UKCOM’s Lexington Latino Health Advocacy Association hosted its first “Doc for a Day” event with Amachi Lexington, a local peer mentoring program. Over 30 medical student volunteers were on site March 5th at the Woodhill Community center to lead young students through multiple medical simulation stations including CPR basics, Stop the Bleed, OR simulation, intubation and orthopedic splinting. Our hope was that by engaging in hands-on learning that we might inspire the next generation of students interested in healthcare careers.
