This little idea has been sitting in my heart for a while, but I knew it had to be fully handmade. That meant calling in the best—my sweet grandma and her sewing magic. 🧵💛 I picked out the cutest materials, we sat together in the same sewing room I grew up in, and brought my vision to life. It felt so nostalgic being back in that space, learning from her hands like I did as a little girl. 🥹 Thank you, Grandma! I can’t wait to finish these up. 🤍 Any guesses on what we made? 👀

One of my very first website orders — and it’s extra special because it came from a sweet friend who saw these products in action on our camping trip! 🏕💛

We just got back from our family trip, and one thing I’m extra grateful for is the little jar of calendula salve that came with us. It wasn’t just a “nice to have”—it truly made a difference.

When one of our friends’ little girls took a tumble on her scooter, calendula helped soothe her road rash and by the next day it already looked so much better. It was there for our sunburns, our scrapes, our bug bites—every little moment of care.

And today something so special happened: my very first website orders came through. They were from those same two friends who saw calendula work its magic firsthand. That means the world to me—not just because it’s an order, but because it’s trust, love, and belief in something I poured my heart into creating💛

Summer evenings have been full of magic around here… 🌼

My daughter and I have been making our way through the “Herb Fairies”book series, one plant at a time. Last night, we closed the last page of the Calendula Fairy — a bright, cheerful summer herb with petals like sunshine and a gentle healing spirit.

As we read about her adventures, I couldn’t help but think of the calendula that’s found its way into my work, carefully dried and infused into the soothing salves I create.

It’s moments like these — where stories, plants, and everyday life weave together — that make herbalism feel so alive. The calendula fairy heals in the pages of her book, and here she is in real life, soothing skin and spreading a bit of summer magic from nature’s hands to yours. 🌼✨
