Episode 2 of Advice from a Chaplain is here.

In this heartfelt message, Chaplain Thom Hunter reminds us that grief isn’t something we fix—it’s something we move through.

Whether you feel deep sorrow, quiet numbness, or even unexpected laughter, your emotions are valid. They are part of the healing.

This week, Thom shares a story about his mother, a sparrow, and a memory that brought peace during loss. It’s gentle. It’s honest. And it might be just what your heart needs today.

💛 Take a moment to watch. You’re not alone in this.

Grief doesn’t follow a script—and neither does healing.

In this first episode of Advice from a Chaplain, Thom Hunter gently reminds us that there’s no “right” way to grieve. Whether you’re navigating loss yourself or walking alongside someone who is, we invite you to take a quiet moment to listen, reflect, and feel seen.

You’re not alone. 💙

Being a caregiver is one of the hardest—and most important—roles you’ll ever take on. 💛

That’s why we created 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞—a new video series from Loving Care, designed to uplift and encourage those caring for loved ones at home.

In our first episode, RN Case Manager 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐳 reminds us that 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵.

Let’s walk through this together—one step, one breath, one moment at a time.

Oklahoma lost a legend.

Gary England wasn’t just a meteorologist—he was a voice of calm in the storm. A true Oklahoman who spent his life keeping families safe, and whose legacy will live on in every warning, every shelter, and every saved life.

We join so many across our state in mourning his passing and honoring his incredible impact.

Thank you, Gary. For your steady presence. For your unwavering service. And for showing us what it means to truly care for your community.

Rest well, sir.

There will only ever be one Gary England - an Oklahoman through and through. He was one of a kind and the impact he had on our state, meteorology and severe weather prediction and tracking will be felt for years and years to come.

I was fortunate to work with Gary and see first-hand how much he cared about keeping Oklahomans safe. We all owe him a debt of gratitude.

My condolences go out to his family and may he rest in peace.

Oklahoma’s Award-Winning Care

A Message From Our Founder:

More than 20 years ago we founded Loving Care with the vision of providing the most comprehensive health care available to people in their homes. Our company was founded on nursing care, NOT the bottom dollar. We knew we wanted to provide the highest quality nursing care and the latest technology available to the patients we served. We knew there were many companies out there that provided the same services we would be providing. We also knew that we wanted to be a company that provided a better kind of care, unique to us, and the secret to our better care would be our name- Loving Care. We ask our staff to do one thing better than all the rest. That one thing is take care of our patients in a way that is recognized as Loving Care.
