🌈 Connected Wellness Group is excited to join the vendors at PrideFest for Hampton Roads Pride this year! We will be at Town Point Park in Norfolk from 12-6:30pm. While we won't be providing counseling at the event, we will be handing out information, providing resources on grounding techniques, and distributing BUBBLES. 🫧🫧 Come on by, grab some information, and blow some bubbles. 🎁 It’s the most wonderful time of the year (kinda)! For some of us, sugar plum fairies, candy canes, dreidels, and lights dance in our heads. For others of us, it is To Do lists, anxious thoughts of how to handle interactions with family, or financial stressors. This time of year is complicated.
🎁 Give your little self permission to celebrate and find awe, give your teenage self permission to take space or set boundaries, and give your adult self permission to rest.
🎁 All feelings are welcome and, just like the holidays, they too will pass.

🎄 Connected Wellness Group Holiday Party 2024 was one for the books! We laughed, we shared our stories and our hearts, and we ate the most incredible meal by (Hampton Roads, pears poached in mulled wine on a salad. Unbelievable. Give them a visit on 38th and Colley). And spot our special guest fresh off The Eras tour in the last photo.
🥂 Cheers to a 2024 of growth, honoring our vision as a practice for our staff and our clients, and a team of therapists who are the heartbeat of Connected Wellness Group.

We have openings for a few new clients! As we approach the 2 year anniversary of CWG, we are excited to be adding 2 licensed therapists to our practice this month.

The chairs almost bested us (swipe for proof), but we managed to get set up and get excited for our weekly, collaborative CWG team meeting starting on Tuesday. We believe connection also happens in the workplace. We hope to grow a practice where our staff learns from one other, celebrates together, and leans on each other to work through the hard things. Therapists suffer from burnout. Daily, we hold space for our clients and their stories but leave little room to hold space for ourselves. Many of us also feel isolated in our profession. We work behind closed doors hour after hour before rushing home to roll into the responsibilities of our own lives.
