This summer I had the pleasure of having these smart, talented, go getters reached out to shadow me and do an externship at Sunset Family Dentistry. My goal was to get them to work independently and feel comfortable interacting with patients in addition thinking through why we do certain procedures over others. Dental instruments as well as terminology, x-ray positioning and processing, learning about how to manipulate different dental materials to name a few. Most importantly we had fun! These ladies will be ready for dental school!!
