Yesterday, I woke up knowing...

It was time to close the studio.

In March, Tony and I knew we'd be moving to Savannah, Georgia. We didn't know when or how but since then, heaven and earth has moved to allow for our move.

We officially arrive in our new city on Saturday, September 13th. While I'd planned to keep the studio open longer, something shifted starting last week.

I started bringing my medicine bundle home. I set up a workspace here that is very reminiscent of 2022, before I moved into a studio. All my work was online back then. And I started taking my out-of-area clients here at home and it has been some of the most potent, out-of-this-world work I've had the honor of holding space for.

From then on, the grief of leaving our old life behind dissipated. I'd stepped into our new life early to see what it felt like. Suddenly, walking into the studio felt like walking into someone else's reality. And in the dark moon on Wednesday, I knew it was time.

So what's next for us and Equinox Energy Medicine?

The Web is expanding! If you aren't part of our community on Facebook, I've just created a team of Keepers to care for the souls inside as we grow. Brittani Frey, Brandy Keenan, Nicole Lite, and Loretto Dalmazzo have stepped into these roles to get the word out about our events, invite new members in, support the members inside, and one will be supporting me with the administrative side of the community too. We're nearing 250 souls strong and expansion has just begun. DM me at Holly Burgess to join.

Our farewell to Virginia is in full swing. If you are local, you may have seen all of our belongings listed for sale! We are offering ourselves a fully fresh start and practicing the art of non-attachment by letting everything go. We're busy traveling for work and play in August but at the end of the month on Saturday, 8/30, we are hosting a farewell brunch from 11am - 2pm. If you are a local client or friend, please DM me so I can make sure you have the details.

We will be serving in new ways. There are six paths to work with me currently and #7 is on its way. My next medicine wheel will be online with monthly ceremonies allowing its ancient medicine and sacred rites transmissions to reach more souls than ever. Tony is also choosing his soul as we enter Savannah. He'll be offering service to the world in a myriad of ways, including through his music. In fact, we are going to start playing music together. We also anticipate traveling city to city to offer healing work, shamanic teachings, and musical medicine in the near future.

Our studio off Colley was a miracle. I prayed for it for six months and in divine timing, it was ours. I am so grateful for the time we spent there and the healing portal I created through it. If you were a part of our space, directly or from afar, I will carry the memories we made there with me for lifetimes.

Now...we see what's next!

I proposed to myself in Arlington, VA. A symbolic and candid moment with two beautiful women to witness what it meant in how I choose to see myself.

We had mimosas and small plates and charged laughter over brunch. It was one of those days that already had a sparkle to it. A softness. A hum of something special.

About a month ago, I created The Web…and I’m here to celebrate that it has been all I wanted it to be!

Led by me, Holly Burgess, founder of Equinox, each week on Wednesdays at noon, we meet at in Ghent, Norfolk and we weave lifegiving conversations together as women.

We call it networking but it’s 100% about connecting. No matter what we do in life & business, we are women first…deeply intrinsically connected to each other.

And if you were able to be a fly on the edge of our web, this is what you would see.

Week 1: We talked all things “dark feminine.” If you aren’t familiar with that term, it just means the part of us that is unapologetic in who we are and what we choose to do because we are conscious of ourselves and others. We also talked about being a woman in the system and how we can win.

Week 2: We talked strategy vs. energy, when to lean back vs. when to create, our moves from religion to spirituality, and a little about our experiences with plant medicine.

Week 3: Our conversation really centered on desire. We talked travel, events, networking, and a little about the struggles in entrepreneurship.

Week 4: Hmmm...how to describe this one...fun, feminine, anarchy? Haha. I left with my inner rebel SO activated and the women who came are on my short list for feeling ignited with passion as we watch the world continue to turn!

I wandered into for the first time in late 2021 and I took photos 2-4 in this series around that time.

The story is long…with parts well before 2021 and parts after it…with Spirit leading all along the way.

I thought I was just there for yoga but it was so much more than that.

Ascension has not been easy for me. This path broke every illusion and limit I ever had about myself forcing me to hide less and less over the years.

And in 2021, I was lost.

Just days later, I asked my husband for a divorce (which never happened) because I was afraid he couldn’t hold me in the full, wild, unconventional, free expression of who I actually am.

(Spoiler alert: it turned out he could ❤️‍🔥)

I didn’t live in a world where it felt like anyone would. Even when I connected in shamanic journey for the very first time and was given my power animal…the unicorn…my teacher told me that a mystical creature couldn’t be my power animal.

But I am a f*cking mystical creature.

And here I was in this random building where I was suddenly seen and held within its walls.

And I never forgot it.

4 years later, I moved in across the hall by synchronicity alone.

And I became just as protective of the space as its other keepers who had carried forward its story long before me.

I am called to this space’s energy often and whether I’m actually inside, just sending light, or holding in prayer that it flourish…

I am grateful.
