Checking off bucket list adventures one bite at a time! ✅

For many, trying new and adventurous foods is high on the ultimate bucket list so we took the plunge together. Our residents headed out to AJ Gators and when we spotted gator on the menu, we knew that this was our moment. 🐊🍽️

From laughter around the table to brave first bites, it was an experience full of memories, courage and plenty of smiles.

Who says bucket list dreams have to be big? Sometimes they're as simple and delicious as trying something new with friends. Here’s to living boldly and savoring every moment! ✨

Some bunny has been busy! 🐰 👀

Our Executive Director, Patrice, and Sales Director, Carolyn, swapped their business attire for bunny ears to deliver some egg-stra special treats to our amazing Professional Partners!

We were thrilled to handmake chocolate peanut butter eggs and banana nut bread as a thank you for all they do to support seniors in our area.

It was also a surprise to run into Patrice's first supervisor who hired her right out of nursing school. She was so excited to meet up with him, and he still remembered her. 👏

We think our partners are truly ear-resistable! 😍

We went all in on 's 2026 Annual Conference! 🎰

It was such a great week of spotlighting the exceptional leaders who make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, families, and fellow associates every day.

As the Ballentine Ballers geared up for their big game against , we stepped up to the plate for a special day at the batting cages! ⚾💪

For some, it was their very first time swinging a bat, and for others, it brought back the kind of memories you never forget.

What started as practice quickly turned into friendly competition, with everyone cheering each other on and trying to outdo the last hit.

A huge thank you to D-BAT Virginia Beach for welcoming us in and helping our team get game-day ready! ☺️

is a way of bringing our residents, families, and associates together once a month for an evening of connection and fun. 🧡 🥳

This month our brought the ballpark to us. Dinner‘s menu took us right to the stands, eating hotdog and chili cheese fries while listening to the music of Lyle & Linda.

We even had a surprise guest stop by - Norfolk Tides mascot Riptide! 👏

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this night happen, our wonderful families who joined us, and to the Norfolk tides for making the night extra special.

For this month’s , Dining Services Director, Andrew, taught us how to cook up a delicious batch of potato skins! 😋 🥔

He showed us a secret technique to get them extra crispy, we talked about various recipes that you could use from scooping the insides out of the potato, and even came up with a few more ideas from our own family traditions.

Everyone enjoyed getting to take a bite of this savory treat as we talked about the perfect crunch! 👏

In keeping with this month’s travel the world theme of the World Series in Miami, the Ballers took on team Commonwealth Senior Living at King's Grant House
in a good old-fashioned baseball game! ⚾ 🧢

From eating delicious ballpark snacks to hitting it out of the park , everybody had a wonderful time.

What a great day of bonding with one of our sister communities! 🍍

We're still thinking about all the fun we had celebrating Italy last month with our Signature Program! 🍝

Trying new places is a resident favorite around here. From pizza to pasta, to Stromboli‘s and salads, Ynot Italian had it all!

Dining Services Director, Andrew, is at it again with an awesome ! 🍽️ 👏

Since we're focused on the World Series this month, he showed us how to prepare the perfect chili dog topped with onions and paired with a strawberry pineapple refresher to enjoy.

The tastes brought us right back to the baseball stadium and memories of attending games. We can’t wait to see what our wonderful Dining Services team comes up with next time! 🌭
