A wonderful day at our community as the Norfolk Public Library stopped by for a fun and informative pop-up event! 📚☕

Residents enjoyed decorating their own teacups, snacking on delicious treats, learning about library services, and even signing up for library cards right on site.

We loved welcoming the sixth graders from Norfolk Collegiate who brought extra kindness, curiosity, and intergenerational bonding to our community! 💙👏

Some students explored hands-on experiences with our different department teams like maintenance and administration, while others spent time with residents over classic games and conversations, creating meaningful moments across generations.

The day offered a powerful exchange of students gaining insight into careers in healthcare and senior living, while residents shared wisdom, laughter, and life experiences.

It was a beautiful reminder of how enriching and uplifting intergenerational connections can be for everyone involved! ✨
