This month’s theme took us to the Port of Baltimore, Maryland celebrating the Vintage Maritime Port of Call! 🚢 ⚓

Our residents were transported beneath the Baltimore Harbor through scenic sensory videos and an engaging sensory bin—complete with real oyster shells. 🐚

Everyone had the chance to dig for the perfect oyster and crack it open in search of a pearl.

They loved turning their found treasure into a beautiful keepsake necklace—a special reminder of a truly fun and memorable day! 💙

We're still thinking about how much fun we had prepping for the 4th of July!

Our residents got creative by reimagining fireworks for our Signature Program wall. 🎆 🎈

At first, some were a bit unsure of how to capture the excitement of the burst of the firework, but we discovered a fun solution: balloons!

It was a new twist that sparked a lot of smiles and creativity. We always love trying new things here at .

Our brand-new grill was ready for its debut at our Fourth of July cookout on a beautiful sunny day! 🍔🌞

Andrew, our Dining Services Director, got a helping hand from one of our very own residents, Red!

Red attended Johnson & Wales University for culinary school and went on to have a career as a professional chef. He loves sharing his expertise with our Dining Services team and is always happy to lend a hand.

We're so grateful for his passion and skill. It made our celebration even more special! 💙

This month’s Signature Program theme took us to the Maritime Port of Call in Baltimore, Maryland! ⚓

Inspired by the city’s abundance of fresh seafood, our Dining Services team chose a dish that was new to many of us: shrimp ceviche!

During our Signature Program, Jasmine showed us how to make this refreshing and flavorful dish. We mixed fresh ingredients and even added herbs straight from our Babylon Micro-Farms.

The verdict? A total hit! Everyone agreed that we’ll definitely be making shrimp ceviche again. 😋

We always get smiles during our Signature Program! ✨

Prior to lunch and dinner, we offer each resident a warm, scented towel infused with essential oils.

At lunch time, the towels are scented with citrus oil to awaken the taste buds and promote appetite, and in the evening, they are scented with lavender to sooth residents and prepare them to relax and promote a restful night's sleep. 🪻👃
