✨ On Saturday, Vaughn’s Way had the honor of awarding the Lake Taylor Football Booster Club a $1,500 donation to support their program—continuing a legacy of giving that Vaughn Parker Jr. began with his own heart for the youth and his community. 🖤💛

We also proudly presented our first ever Vaughn Parker Jr. Memorial Scholarships to Jermaine Capel Jr. and Caleb Shortridge—two incredible young men who attended the Vaughn’s Way D-Line Academy in 2024 & 2025 and have been actively involved in our events and community service efforts.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Coach Sawyer for graciously receiving the donation on behalf of the football team and for his unwavering dedication to empowering young athletes.

This moment was more than a presentation—it was a continuation of Vaughn’s spirit of generosity, mentorship, and love for his community. His light lives on through each life we touch. ✨

🌟 Special shoutout to our co-founder, , for showing up and showing out at the Community Kitchen! 🏈👨‍🍳 Jalyn jumped right in to help the boys from Tidewater Youth Services Westhaven Boys Home during their cooking class—and the connection was truly inspiring.

Side by side, he laughed, encouraged, and cooked with the youth as they learned to make hibachi, stir-fry veggies, fried rice, lo mein, cupcakes, smoothies, and more. The joy on their faces said it all. 💛

Huge thanks to Mercy Chefs Summer Huddle team, Madison & Suzanne, for creating such an unforgettable experience. The impact made that day will be felt for a long time.
