💙 Comfort Drive Recap | Vaughn’s Way Foundation 💙

What started as a simple act of kindness has grown into a mission rooted in love, service, and legacy. Our Comfort Drive is more than an event — it’s a reflection of who Vaughn Parker Jr. was and the heart he had for people.

This year, we were honored to serve our community by providing hot meals, self-care and toiletry bags, blankets, hats, gloves, and toys for children. A special thank you to , who generously provided toys and helped bring joy to families during the holiday season. 🎁

None of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers, community partners, and supporters who continue to show up with open hearts. Because of you, families felt seen, supported, and cared for.

This is Vaughn’s Way — turning compassion into action and carrying forward a legacy that continues to touch lives. Thank you for being part of this journey. 💛

💛 Happy Heavenly Birthday, Vaughn Parker Jr. 💛

Today we celebrate what would have been Vaughn’s 46th birthday — a day that now holds deep meaning for all of us at Vaughn’s Way.

The Comfort Drive began because of Vaughn.
On his last birthday here on Earth, instead of letting leftover food from his birthday party go to waste, he chose to take it into the community and feed those in need. That simple act of love — so genuine, so selfless — became the seed of a tradition that has now grown into a powerful mission.

Every year, we honor his life by giving back.
We serve meals, provide toiletry and self-care items, hand out blankets, and support families with toys and essentials — all in the spirit of his heart for people. Vaughn’s compassion continues to move through every volunteer, every donation, and every life touched today.

✨ Because Vaughn simple act of compassion , hundreds of people have felt seen, supported, and cared for. His legacy lives in every act of kindness we give.

And today, on his birthday, we’re doing it again. 💛

💙 TOMORROW: Vaughn’s Way Comfort Drive & Community Feeding 💙

Our annual Comfort Drive is TOMORROW, and we invite you to share this with anyone who may be in need of a warm meal, hygiene essentials, or support this holiday season.

📅 Saturday, December 6, 2025
🕐 1 PM – 5 PM
📍 The Great Awakening Church – Portsmouth, VA

We will be providing:
🍽️ Hot meals
🧴 Self-care & toiletry bags
🧣 Blankets and essentials
🎁 Toys for children in attendance — courtesy of The Noblemen

If you would still like to donate, you can do so monetarily (link in bio or visit Vaughnsway.org) or by bringing blankets, gloves, and hats to support the families we serve.

The ABNB Community Foundation exists to strengthen the communities we serve by supporting local organizations that make life better for children and families. Because of your donations, we've partnered with organizations like the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CHKD), providing inpatient and outpatient mental health services to over 11,000 children in Hampton Roads. In addition, we've partnered with organizations like Vaughn’s Way Inc. and the Foodbank of the Albemarle, where hundreds of food boxes were delivered and families in need were supported, because of YOU!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Vaughn’s Way Comfort Drive 2025 💙

We are excited to announce that our annual Comfort Drive & Community Feeding will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at The Great Awakening Church in Portsmouth, VA!

This year is especially meaningful as we host this event in celebration of Vaughn Parker Jr.’s 46th birthday. What started as an act of love from Vaughn on his final birthday has now become a tradition we hold close to our hearts.

✨ This will be our 3rd year carrying on this mission — feeding the community, offering toiletries, blankets, and providing support to individuals and families in need.

🎁 Toy Giveaway:
Toys will be provided courtesy of The Noblemen for families in attendance.

Each year, this event grows in impact, and we are grateful to continue honoring Vaughn’s legacy through service, compassion, and community connection.

We’re officially kicking off our Comfort Drive & Community Feeding preparations! 🙌
We’re collecting toiletry items and essential supplies to create self-care kits for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or food insecurity this holiday season.

We’re excited to share that The Noblemen will be partnering with us again this year and providing toys for families attending the event — helping us spread even more love and joy across the community. 🎁
