Next month will mark 100 years since Martin Luther Home—one of the two organizations that created Mosaic—was founded in Nebraska. The news of the Home’s opening spread quickly. Within 11 days, four individuals arrived by train, but the Home wasn’t ready yet. Martha Moehl, wife of one of the founders, cared for the children (and more who arrived later) in their family home until the residential school was ready to house them.

Muffins with Mosaic in Fremont was a success!

We had a wonderful time last week connecting with our community over coffee and muffins. It was a great opportunity for the individuals we serve to build relationships and share stories with those around them.

At Mosaic, we're dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of people with diverse needs. We've been following the latest news on autism and the latest research being done to better understand this complex condition.

We believe that for millions around the world, autism is a fundamental part of who they are. We've seen firsthand the many gifts people with autism bring to the world and how acceptance and proper support make a positive difference in their lives.

This group completed some more trips this past month to places like the Durham Museum, the Marble and Antique Museum, Fort Hartsuff, DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, Schramm State Park Education Center, the Seward County historical Society, and also the Platte County Historical Society.
