The Sparkle Strong Foundation is currently seeking donations of Native art, jewelry and handmade items for our Native Art Supporting Hearts auction.

This fundraiser supports families living in the pediatric cardiac ICU alongside their children — helping provide comfort, practical support and care during extended hospital stays.

We would be honored to feature work from Native artists and makers as part of this event. We will be accepting donations through August 21 for an early September online auction.

Wishing a gentle Mother’s Day to all the heart mamas pacing hospital hallways, who have to ask to hold your babies, who are on a first name basis with the CICU staff. To all the heart mamas who have a weekly date at the heart clinic, have a syringe cleaning system, who worry with every cough and sniffle. To all the heart mamas whose warriors have finished the fight, who hold their little loves through memories, who aren’t quite sure what to do now.

We see all of you and hope today is as gentle as possible. 💕
