Hey everyone 🤍

I wanted to check in with my amazing community and get your thoughts on something I’ve been considering adding to my equine therapy services… cryotherapy ❄️🐴

As many of you know, red light therapy is what started this journey for me—supporting recovery, reducing inflammation, and helping both horse and rider feel and perform their best. That foundation isn’t going anywhere 🙌

So what is cryotherapy?
It’s a cold-based therapy that helps reduce inflammation, swelling, and soreness by constricting blood vessels and slowing down irritation in the body. It’s especially helpful after intense rides, training sessions, or competitions.

Why it pairs so well with red light therapy:
Cryotherapy helps calm things down quickly (reducing inflammation and pain), while red light therapy works deeper to promote healing, circulation, and tissue repair. Together, they create a powerful recovery combo for both horses and riders ✨

I’m always looking for ways to better support you and your horses, and this could be an amazing addition alongside what I already offer.

Before I move forward, I’d love to hear from YOU:

✨ Would you be interested in cryotherapy?
✨ Would you use it before or after rides, training, or competitions?
✨ Would you pair it with red light therapy sessions?

Your input truly helps shape the future of my business as I work toward making this my full-time passion 🫶

Drop a comment, message me, or react so I can get a feel for interest!

Thank you for supporting me and trusting me with your horses 🤍🐎

Some of the best horses you’ll ever own live in the 4D and 5D.

I’ve won way more money on those horses than I have on some of my 1D horses.

They usually:
• need almost zero maintenance
• aren’t living on a vet schedule
• don’t require perfectly timed meds
• and they just show up and do their job

Meanwhile everyone is out here acting like if you’re not in the 1D you’re somehow failing.

But I’ll take a sound, happy horse that clocks checks and lets me have fun over a high-maintenance one that costs thousands to keep running any day. I own both types and having one that constantly stresses you out versus just enjoying one is huge !

Do I love running the fast ones? Absolutely.

But there is something pretty great about saddling a horse, making a clean run, landing in the money, and going home without needing a pharmacy or a vet bill.

So if you’re running a 4D or 5D horse right now…

Don’t let anyone make you feel like that horse doesn’t count.

Because those horses are the ones quietly keeping people in the pay window.

This little 5d king won $3500 in one run . And that’s one hell of a good day ❤️

🪰 𝐁𝐨𝐭 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰! 🐴

Bot flies might not be the most dangerous parasite, but they can cause serious irritation and discomfort, both outside and inside your horse’s body! Here’s a quick breakdown to help you spot, treat, and prevent them:

🔍 𝟑 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐨𝐭 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬:
1. Common Bot Fly: Lays yellow eggs on the legs/shoulders. Horses ingest them while grooming themselves. Larvae migrate from the horse's mouth to the stomach and live there over the winter.
2. Throat Bot Fly: Lays pale eggs near the jaw. Larvae crawl into the gums before reaching the stomach.
3. Nose Bot Fly: Lays dark eggs around the nose. Larvae burrow into the lips/tongue and then migrate to the stomach.

⚠️ 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
- Weight loss
- Diarrhea or constipation
- Loss of appetite
- Belly kicking or restlessness
- In some cases, an infestation can lead to stomach ulcers. A bot infestation in the stomach is diagnosed by a Gastric Scope in the same fashion we diagnose Gastric Ulcers.

💊 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬:
- Remove eggs daily with a bot knife or stone
- Deworm regularly (Ivermectin is commonly used)
- Talk to your vet for the best timing and dosage

🛡️ 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬:
- Groom daily and check for eggs
- Practice pasture and manure management
- Rotate grazing areas
- Avoid ground feeding
- Provide clean and fresh water at all times
- Keep up with f***l exams and scheduled deworming

Staying proactive with grooming, pasture care, and parasite control makes a world of difference in your horse’s health. If you’ve spotted bot fly eggs or noticed any concerning symptoms, our team is here to help. Give us a call to create a tailored prevention or treatment plan because your horse deserves the very best care, inside and out.

🚨 If your horse or dog could text you… this is what they’d say:

“Call T & J. I’m sore.”

Not limping.
Not dramatic.
Just not 100%.

And here’s the truth most owners don’t realize 👇
By the time they show pain… they’ve been compensating for weeks.

At T & J Laser Therapy, I don’t just treat injuries —
✨ I reduce inflammation
✨ Speed up healing
✨ Support fractures & soft tissue injuries
✨ Help performance horses stay competitive
✨ Give senior dogs comfort again

My patients LOVE seeing me pull up.
They relax. They respond. They feel better.

If your animal:
• Isn’t turning like they used to
• Feels stiff warming up
• Had a recent injury
• Is aging and slowing down
• Or you just know something’s off

Let’s fix it before it becomes a bigger issue.

📩 Message me to get on the schedule.
Spots are limited this month — and I’d love to help your animal feel like themselves again.

This mare needed two different approaches in one session.
Blue light to help combat infection in the drain field, and red light to support healing for a fracture. Watching the body respond when the right tools are used is why I love this work.

Fast forward 3 months and she’s back in the arena with vet permission 🤩👏🏼

Just an evening neighborhood run to make this sweet boy feel good 🤍 Good combo session to help an ear infection plus some infrared therapy along the spine. Jasper’s face says all you need to know about his session.. comforting and soothing 😌

Send me a message to get your furry friend a session 🙂

✨ New Year. Same Passion. Even More Healing. ✨

Hi, I’m the face behind T & J Laser Therapy 👋
I don’t just show up for appointments—I show up because I genuinely love what I do.

Watching dogs get up easier, horses move freer, and animals feel relief they’ve been missing never gets old. My patients know the sound of my vehicle, wait at the gate, and meet me with trust—and that means everything to me.

Laser therapy isn’t just a service here.
It’s comfort.
It’s recovery.
It’s quality of life.

As we step into this new year, I’m grateful for every client who’s trusted me with their animals and excited to help even more in 2026. If your dog or horse could use pain relief, improved mobility, or faster healing—this may be exactly what they’ve been waiting for.

Weather advisory report !

❄️ Colder Weather Can Be Tough on Our Animals ❄️

As temperatures drop, many animals start to feel it—especially seniors, working dogs, horses, and those with arthritis or old injuries. Cold weather can cause joints to stiffen, circulation to slow, and soreness to flare up, even in animals that usually seem comfortable.

That’s where T & J Laser Therapy comes in 💙
Laser therapy helps:
• Increase circulation
• Reduce inflammation
• Ease joint and muscle stiffness
• Support mobility and comfort during colder months

🐶 Cold-Weather Tips for Dogs:
• Keep walks shorter but more frequent to avoid stiffness
• Warm up stiff joints with gentle movement before activity
• Provide soft, warm bedding away from drafts
• Maintain a healthy weight to reduce joint strain
• Consider supportive therapies if you notice limping or slower movement

🐴 Cold-Weather Tips for Horses:
• Allow extra time to warm up before riding or work
• Keep horses moving with turnout to prevent stiffness
• Ensure proper blanketing when needed
• Monitor older horses closely for signs of soreness or reduced mobility
• Support muscles and joints with regular bodywork or therapy

I truly love what I do, and seeing animals relax, move better, and feel relief never gets old. Many of my clients say their animals light up when they see me coming—and that means everything to me 🐾

Don’t let cold weather slow your animal down.
