Live Freely Fest this past Saturday was nothing short of amazing! It was so much fun getting to vend alongside almost 80 other female entrepreneurs and creatives at 🤍🦋 The turnout was incredible and I got to meet so many wonderful people! Thank you to everyone who came out to support all of us! Special shoutout to my awesome mom for being my righthand lady and manning my booth with me and my amazing boyfriend for transporting the Indigo mini boutique to the beer field and helping with set up and breakdown. Shoutout to Alyssa for creating such a fun and empowering platform for all of us ladies to work our magic on. 🦋 Visibility has always been a challenging topic for me but one that has been surfacing a lot for me recently. Since I was a little girl I have always been most comfortable quietly doing my own thing (usually in a very unorthodox way), spending time alone to recharge and having a small handful of friends I felt I could really trust and connect with in a deeper way. This way of being was also reinforced through certain circumstances and situations I experienced growing up and in my early adulthood. Recently I have been striving to embrace my individuality in a new way by being intentional about putting myself out there with my business and community. Spirit has been sending me MANY messages surrounding this topic lately. It has popped up in healing sessions I have received including various types of readings, reiki sessions, strange coincidences and signs. I am so grateful to be learning how to stand in my truth and power in this new (and kinda scary!) way. One beautiful thing I have noticed is that each time I allow myself to free fall into visibility, like-minded energy in some form is always there to catch me. The witch wound runs DEEP but I am committed to alchemizing it not just for myself but for all of the wild women in my lineage who came before me and all who will come after. 👻

BIG NEWS INDIGOS!🦋

As some of you may know, I left the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Masters Program I was enrolled in almost two years ago. I left because of some conflicting views I have regarding how we were taught to work with certain issues as well as some protocols post-pandemic at clinical placement sites. I recently found both a masters program and clinical placement sites that are much more in alignment with my personal values as well as the work I am striving to do with clients from both the clinical and holistic perspectives.

It has always been my dream to be an authentic agent of change in the mental health field, particularly in regards to working with trauma, addiction, and suicidal patients. It is my goal to be a clinician who merges the clinical approach with alternative methods for healing including psychedelic-assisted therapies, EMDR & somatic work. Soooo…

I will be starting my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at New England College this Fall!

With that being said, my public event and 1:1 client schedule may shift especially while I am obtaining my clinical hours. I will be sure to keep you all updated on what this looks like as I get acclimated to the program and have a clearer understanding of what my day to day schedule will look like.

In true Nina fashion, my path to becoming a holistic LCMHC has been a non-traditional one. Finding my place(s) in this world to carry out my mission and purpose of helping people heal in a holistic way has been quite a journey! I am grateful for all of the mountains and the valleys I have encountered along the way. 🦋

Ive been working hard all summer to take my booth to the next level for this event and I could not be more stoked!
