The Body Is Not a Machine.
The Body Is more like a Garden.
Most people treat their body like a device.
They try to fix it.
Hack it.
Force it.
Override it.
But the body is not mechanical.
The body is botanical.
It grows.
It responds to light.
It wilts under stress.
It thrives under care.
It listens to rhythm.
It remembers seasons.
And like a garden, it does not respond to force.
It responds to relationship.
This is why herbs work.
Not because they “fight” symptoms…
…but because they speak the same language as the body.
Lemongrass does not force calm.
It reminds the nervous system what calm feels like.
Blue vervain does not silence tension.
It teaches the body how to soften its grip.
Lemon balm does not knock you out.
It whispers safety back into the cells.
Mint does not “fix” digestion.
It restores the movement that was always meant to be there.
Herbs do not attack problems.
They restore conversation.
The body heals when it feels heard.
And plants know how to listen.
So if you feel tired, inflamed, anxious, or out of rhythm…
Don’t ask:
“What’s wrong with my body?”
Ask:
“What does my garden need?”
More water?
More rest?
More light?
More stillness?
More nourishment?
More kindness?
Because the body is always trying to grow toward balance.
It just needs the right environment.
And sometimes, the perfect plant!
