Full-time and Part-time Possible Shifts Currently Available in Menomonie, Wi.

Our AFH & CBRF homes provide support to individuals with disabilities preventing them from thriving on their own. The in-home setting provides a comfortable environment for residents and employees! Our Ridgewood Heights Campuses are looking to add a couple personal care workers to our team. We have 5 separate homes 1 of the 5 dose requires female staff only! Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent knowledge of ISP/BSP and charting
Knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
Housekeeping and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Ability to be respectful, compassionate, and have strong ethics.
Good time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of reporting and documentation of services
Ability to be aware of others’ reactions, needs, and individual differences.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to frequently bend/stoop, reach, balance, push/pull, and lift up to but not limited to 50lbs.
Occasionally will need to crawl, squat, and kneel.
Must be able to see and hear clearly as well as communicate in English verbally and though writing.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred PCW experience
Preferred CBRF certification
Must be 18 or older and be able to pass a Wisconsin Caregiver’s background check.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
Help clients take prescribed medication.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
Daily charting and reporting any incidents.
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency!

Pay: $12 - $15 per hour starting wage
Free on shift meals and Flexible Schedule

6am - 2pm Wed & EOW (every other weekend) must have Standard Precautions (CBRF certification required within 90 days)

2pm - 10pm Mon - Fri & EOW (every other weekend) no certification required.
